The company guaranteed the kitchen floor would match the existing polyurethane floor colour over time and hasn't. I asked for a poly finish but they said the oil finish would marry with the existing polyurethane finish. Also where the kitchen sink is above the floor it is showing obvious signs of scaring. This is less than 1 year of finish, I would not recommend this company. I will have to hire another floor sander to rectify this work.

I have known Reuben for many years. We specialise in engineered timber flooring, but on the odd occasions handle solid timber flooring for insurance work and Reuben always delivers on key. He has also assisted in rough sanding floors for us as well as coating staircases to conform to slip rating regulations. I hand his number out almost every week and I have had nothing but compliments from people. It is always a pleasure dealing with Reuben and nothing is ever a hassle for him. Rueben and his crew came highly recommended to us a couple of years ago. We had a big job with a lot of detail. From the get go was very easy to deal with and had great ideas. We used Ocean Floors to install a new timber floor in our client's beachfront residence. Reuben was professional, punctual and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. Moreover the finished product is absolutely seamless and still takes my breath away.

I cannot speak too highly of Reuben at Ocean Floors and all his colleagues. We had to rip out an existing floor and replaced it with engineered oak at Reuben's suggestion. The job proved more challenging than had been predicted based on what they found underneath the existing boards, but Reuben happily made sure that the additional prep work required for the new floor was done perfectly. His crew of workers were professional and courteous, and Reuben's attention to detail when finishing the job was that of an artist. We are delighted with the finished product, and there's not one person visiting the house who hasn't been stunned by the look. I would recommend Ocean Floors without any hesitation.

We are renovating our home in Miami on the Gold Coast, and Reuben and his team removed and replaced the timber flooring. We were advised to use a hardwood but, as we are within proximity to the beach, Reuben advised us to use a substrate flooring due to moisture and potential warping. We went with a beautiful Oak substrate flooring and we were overwhelmed with the finished product and his service was top notch.
