Nice warm showers, clean toilets. Spacious. Good location to cycle or drive into town. Great value for money. And you might catch a cricket match too. Good location to explore mount remarkable and other nearby hikes and bike trails.

Excellent amenities, clean with great hot showers. Caretaker on site. $30 powered site $20 unpower.Acres of area to set up for unpower camping.

Very disappointing stay at Melrose showgrounds. The caretakers are very rude particularly the woman. All of the amenities were locked at 10:00 to 11:00 leaving no toilets available. The toilet near the dump Point was filthy dirty hadn't been cleaned for months.The other toilets were clean but locked for an hour to be cleaned not very convenient. We won't be back and do not recommend the campground since the new caretakers have been caring for the ground's.Rowley the previous caretaker was more helpful and customer friendlyRIP kind man.

Good spot to stop overnight plenty of room has toilets and showers however didn't use showers $10/adult lots of grass to set-up on

Great spot to camp. Have powered and unpowered options. Great amenities which are spotlessly cleaned each day. A few km’s from the town. Bring your own fire pit to stay toasty warm in winter. Bags of wood available locally, jyst ask the caretakers of the showgrounds.

Extremely disappointed with the lady caretaker. We are a pretty carefree couple but on arrival it was like she couldn't care 2 hoots. we wanted an unpowered site. we were told where to go across the track. Then they kept driving past us as if were doing something wrong. Next day went back into the caravan park and stayed. the reception there was wonderful. Would never recommend it to anyone else while they are there. The worst experience ☹

$10 bucks a nite for an unpowered site with access to toilets and showers.What more could you want?We were very happy to stay high & dry.
