Got to see what looked like a pufferfish at the end of the board walk! Lots of bird life on the water and in the she-oak forest and even some unbothered roos just off the walking track.I recommend bringing binoculars for the bird watching hide to see the enormous flock of black swans that sit further out.

Beautiful scenery, great arrange of different bird life through out the year or a lovely place to walk dog on lead. But recently someone burntout a car in carpark so sad.

This is a superb place to get close to nature. Many birds of all kinds and we even met a momma kanga with her Joey. Good walking trains and boardwalks, also bird blinds where you can sit comfortably on the benches and spy on all sorts of wildlife. Adequate parking is also a plus.

An amazing reserve! Right next to Mandurah, but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere! Lots of birds to be seen, and an amazing wetland environment. A leisurely still from EtsyWest to east only takes just over half an hour or so. You can then choose to walk back along the suburban streets (beautiful parkland for a lot of the way!), or else retrace your steps. The paths are very affordable, though can get boggy or flood when it has been raining. One of the hidden gems in Mandurah!

Great place to walk and birdwatch. It is fenced all round to protect the wildlife from foxes and is a dog-free zone for the same reason. There are a couple of board walks, but the bush walks are much better. There is a great cafe near the entry, but I was told they were being forced to close, so if you want to lunch there, it might be best to check that it's still operating. I spent two half days at this park and would definitely go back.

Nice place for a stroll. Lots of bird life and a few kangaroos inside the fenced area.

If you are a nature lover then this wetland area is a fascinating place for you to explore. There are boardwalks with information panels and a viewing platform. It is a nice place to see waterbirds. The walking trail has flat even surface with no steep sections, so kids and elders also can visit this bird-watching area to enjoy a stroll and be relaxed by nature.
