Rocky Crossing
Pretty little rest area with some shade.Has BBQ'S ( not electric ) a shelter, toilet. Plenty of room to throw a picnic rug out, relax and unwind.Take your swimmers, floats, booties so you don't slip on rocks or the bridge. For the more daring bring canoe head down steam. Don't know where you'll end up but I've seen it done.Dog friendly

Ford closed after recent floods. Adjacent picnic area bare and desolate. There is a toilet (not used/checked). Uninviting. May be a nice visit in summer.

Another great place to picnic and or swim. Whilst it was a little cold while we were here it was still a great place. Would recommend highly in the summer but in the cooler months one could enjoy using one of the many firepits. You would have to BYO your own wood but it would be well worth the effort.

Beautiful spot. You can access it in two ways. One is the long way starting and ending with the blue gum loop track for a total of around 15km. The shorter way is to drive up a dirt road to the Williams river picnic area which would be just a few kms return.

Amazing magical spot. About 2K round trip, walking through the bushland. Walking back up could be hard if you are not used to walking. Well worth it.

It's nice to see it running properly after plenty of rain

Only just found out there’s a built kayak put in point in Barrington side of the river, on the downstream side of the causeway. The gate was open the day I visited but the track was definitely 4wd access only with 2 wheels leaving the ground.
