Bomaderry Station
Interesting functionalist architecture of the station. Good to see that there was a fairly large waiting room, for some of the longest waiting times out of any regular Sydney train service (same goes for the rest of that line, of Gerringong, Berry and the other platform at Kiama)be prepared wo wait up-to at least an hour on average. Community painted, showing some of the local culture of the Bomaderry/Nowra area. Serves as the furthest point, as an extension of the South Coast intercity line

Good parking. Coffee shops, bakeries and chemist across the road. Local bus services connect right at the station. Amenities are cleaned regularly. Lovely and helpful staff. As a young woman, I’ve always felt pretty safe here. It also has an Opal top up machine.

i love the bomo traino. I enjoy watching the locals (the creakheads) departing from the train. They give me a sense of joy that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Sadly, this is where the train ends. It really should continue all the way to Eden, especially with Ulladulla, Batemans Bay, Narooma and Bega growing rapidly. Nowra has a bad reputation as Wollongong's crime" suburb (which I'd don't want to talk about it)

Parking is a pain unless your travelling early in the morning or at night and most of the time there is drug addicts catching the train so i would recommend avoiding if possible unless your travelling early in the day when they arnt hanging around

Small station that is at the end of the line heading south on the city trains.The toilets are clean and well keptThe small town of Bomaderry has shopping and nice little park.It's about 3km walk to Nowra over the Shoalhaven river.Very pretty#coddiewiimpleicp
