Hoppy's Carwash Toowong

I asked for a $50 clean as advertised on the notice board above the drive through was area and was charged $61, this is a surcharge for large vehicles, i have a medium sized Subaru forester not particularly large or dirty.I used to come Hoppies Milton often but i wont be back, i can get the same service from the Orion Springfield hand wash for $39.I must admit that I haven't been to hoppies in Milton for a while because of covid-19 but i am a pensioner and like my car kept clean and befor covid-19 i used this place on a regular basis. Over the years you've had plenty of staff look after me and i have enjoyed the the service i got from your greeters, but the one i encountered today was quite uncaring abouut the job and the customers cars, not rude but i dont care attitude the old man that wore a hat was one of your best greeters he at least had a good attitude towards your customers.

I'm never one to be a Karen but in this case it's definitely warranted.Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced and I would highly recommend that people don't go here.I went in for a wash and foolishly attempted to sign up for the washclub. When I politely asked the lady from the front if she or someone could explain the contract to me as the terms were not clear and what she was explaining to me was different to what was written in the contract... she told me to just sign it. I said no and politely asked if someone could explain how long I am signing for and what the terms are... she proceeded to give me incredible attitude, told me she is getting the manager and stormed off.I naively thought the manager would be much better and be able to answer my simple question so I could sign up and give them more business but sure enough the manager walks over and is even worse. He couldn't explain the contract, was rude and told me to just sign. He then scrunched up the contract and told me that it's cancelled and I will just pay got today and that's it. He was very disrespectful. I honestly was shocked at how poorly these people interacted with customers and feel sorry for them as they obviously aren't happy with their work.The wash was OK but definitely not worth the price, poor attention to detail and I won't be coming back.

I was feeling a bit nervous after reading some reviews however after receiving my car after a super plus wash and interior clean (sanitisation), I couldn’t be happier! I sat outside for the last part of the clean and saw the crew vacuum, scrub and wipe every square millimetre of the internal and externals of the car. It looked and felt brand new. I usually clean my own car to save $$ and this cost 127.50 in total but I’m really happy to spend that when you know they’ll do a thorough and careful job. Thank you everyone! I’ll be back and recommending to friends.

I had a super ($50) plus $15 for carpet vacuuming. Manager was very helpful also the last quality control lady as well. However there is untouched bits and pieces at every side. They should improve quality control measures.

I normally don’t bother with reviews, but I feel I need to make the effort with this one.I had my car washed and interior cleaned but I’m really disappointed with the result after paying $70. The photos are just one example where the external review mirror was not cleaned properly. The dirty mirror is the result after the wash and the other photos are of the progressive cleaning of the mirror I did myself when I got home.There are other examples, the wheels were still dirty and the interior dashboard and vents were still dusty.Disappointing indeed! Perhaps it’s because in still have NSW plates on my car and the thinking may have been that ‘we won’t see her again’. Well, guess what? I’ve moved to Brisbane permanently.Whatever the reason for $70 it’s excessive when I have to re-clean the car myself.

Leaving a car wash with a stain on the windscreen and paying 82$ is not acceptable. I was told that this stain couldn’t be removed and I might need to replace windscreen. It took me literally 5 seconds to get rid of the stain. Not coming back guys.

Service has improved considerably since my last review! Great car wash option for the Brisbane West Side.

I think everyone would have a better experience if there were some competition for Hoppy’s in Toowong. They will do the absolute bare minimum (if that), for a lot of money. They behave as if they are doing customers a favour, from the moment you drive in. It’s a good business with so much potential but shockingly poor customer service and often questionable quality.

Hoppy's did a terrible job washing my car, the sill panel on the driver side was almost completely missed and the passenger side wasn't much better.When I sent an email with photos, I received a reply 3 weeks later explaining that the exterior wasn't washed properly because the interior required more effort than other vehicles usually require.Now, an attendant checked my car inside and out before anyone washed/cleaned anything and did not inform me that there would be a problem.So, if the feeble excuse offered in the reply email were true, the staff who washed the exterior of the car (which was done first) would have to have been instructed to not complete the job to allow extra time to clean the interior.I understand that people make mistakes, we're all human, but when ya stuff up, ya say sorry & ya fix it.I call B.S & I will never go to a Hoppy's site ever again.

This is what a wash and vacuum PLUS an excess dirt/cleaning surcharge gets you at Hoppy's... absolutely nothing!! Their Facebook, Instagram, and email teams don't respond to messaged and I'm left feeling pretty scammed with a car that's an absolute mess. There's 70 minutes of my life wasted. Would've been easier to do it myself.
