Lakeside Garden Retreat

We have been twice and consider Charles & Sally friends of ours that we feel we've known for decades. They are the most beautiful hosts, and their garden has to be walked through to be believed. Attached are a few autumn photos, can't wait to see to come back during each season! There are no words to decribe how much we love this place, and hand feeding the wrens is a twice daily highlight!

This place is heaven on earth, the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. The facilities are clean and comfortable and of a very high standard. The hosts are lovely people and leave you with plenty of privacy. Can not recommend more highly and hope to return again soon.

Fabulous accommodation.Sleeps 4, verandah overlooking truly amazing gardens. Hosts Sally and Charles are really wonderful.Private entrance, your own car space, fresh home made cookies on arrival and a warm welcome from our hosts.Log fire for chilly nights. Has a bath tub and shower, separate toilet. Towel rack warmer, Free WiFi, fully self contained kitchen with oven and gas cook top.Little things like olive oil, paper towel, glad wrap and some fresh milk waiting in the fridge, tea and coffee fixings for you when you arrive after your journey. The bedrooms have full sized robes to put all your clothes away. Electric blankets on the beds, plenty of fresh towels, extra blankets and pillows.The gardens are a must see as they are Sally and Charles' pride and joy and will happily point out all the beautiful and unusual plants.Take a good walk around the grounds as you will not be disappointed. You will be in awe of their skills as gardeners and the time it must take for it to look as amazing as it does.The wrens will come and visit you on the verandah, Charles has a tub of bird food that he leaves with you so you can hand feed them.The verandah has a bbq as well. At night enjoy the frogs calling out from the lake and on a clear night do some stargazing.We will be back next year.Love this place.The little touches that Sally and Charles provide are what counts and that this place is a very comfortable home away from home.It is very peaceful here and yet you are only 5 minutes drive from Pemberton townsite and the gateway to all that the Pemberton district has to offer.

Beautiful tranquil oasis for 2 or 4 people in a beautiful garden setting in the heart of the Pemberton forest. Highly recommended!
