Yarramalong Weir Reserve
Although the actual camp site is very good the weir has changed a lot it is now way drier than previously posted pictures and the creek is blocked off by a large sand bar not far from the weir itself

Yarramalong Weir Reserve
Very popular place in the school holidays. Not a very big area can possibly fit up to 15 camp setups. Can be boggy if wet and causeway can go under with rain. We were able to camp on a nice grassy spot, on the hill and could hear the water rushing over the weir. Very peaceful. Campers were respectful of each other with little to no noise after 9pm. There is a flushing toilet on site, which is basic and relatively clean. The only negative was an area at the end of the end of the camp ground was littered with numerous nappy wipes. No excuse for this as there are bins located on site. Overall, a pleasant experience.

Great little spot, loads of petrified wood, some agate and a fossilised bone found specking the river gravels for only 10 minutes

Nice quiet place. Great for pulling up and rolling out the swag and staying. Good fishing hole there as well with plenty of local stocked fish. Although the water was low we were able to contribute to the reduction of the local carp population.

A good little place with ample space to camp and swim. In the morning there a many cockatoo in the trees :)And my chef was great :p

Nice spot for a couple of days, fished but didn't catch anything, but I'm not the best fisherman. Toilets and 72 hrs stay.
