Ampol Foodary Lightning Ridge
This servo is the easiest to access with a caravan in lightning ridge and has always had fair pump prices. The staff are lovely here and always willing to share a joke. I never fail to travel through lightning ridge every year as I love the place. It might seem barren but the diversity of the people and the place is fantastic. Also being a bit of a photographer helps as I love the outback.

Just tried to pay for petrol and even though I have a medical exemption they wouldn't let me in to pay. They insisted that there is no medical exemptions. Bed form Caltex.

Experienced very bad customer service after fuel pump was not working. Was humiliated and scolded as a bloody foreigner.

Cheapest fuel in LR after NRMA or Toyota discount. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Wonderful staff , cool and very clean and open early and fuel prices normal for this area and plenty of fresh food available and $3 large coffee I actually drive past 2 garages to go there .I really like being warmly greeted and then thanked even if I only buy a can of drink.

Caltex Lightening Ridge , Nice freindly staff , How ever owening a dedicated gas car , The service station advertising LPG at 81 9 cents a litre on the internet, fuel apps and on there main sign out the front is a big false advertisement , They advertised gas for sale for 5 days while I was at there , And was unable to buy gas cause a air compressor was down, There was so many disappointed people with gas cars who required tow trucks cause of false advertising , Not Happy And very very disappointing!

Petrol is cheaper here than in Brisbane. Opens early 6am. Closed at night.
