Lou's Place
The place is nice and cozy, had a lot of photos taken from this place. However, the beef and the eggplant ragu could have been better. We went on a Sunday lunch and kind of busy. The lady who took our order was friendly but she forgot to gave us cutleries but that’s okay…

We really loved our lunch at Lou’s place.It had a really warm vibe and the food had a home cooked quality.The chicken was definitely the highlight!We appreciated the time our waiter invested into explaining our dishes at length. Really enhanced our dining experience!

Fantastic place, we did the wine tasting which was super cheap and learned a lot about the estate, the Miranda family and wine in general. Great experience. Super nice staff as well.

Lou's Place
Superb from start to finish. Set menu makes it so easy, no decisions to make just delicious food. The ragu was a highlight for me. We sat out the front on a lovely sunny day. The staff helped move umbrellas to keep us shaded, and were lovely and very attentive all afternoon.

Lou's Place
Lou’s place is a lovely stop in the Barossa for a good feed. They have both inside and outside dining with plenty of big umbrellas for shade. The food here is top notch, prepared and presented well. I really enjoyed the lamb ragu pasta, it was to die for! When we went, the menu options were set combinations of antipasto, 2 entrees, a main of your choice and 2 sides, designed to share at $59pp which I thought was great value. We couldn’t even finish the food! Public holiday surcharge of 10% which we were happy to pay and had an amazing time dining outside with great weather. The staff are super attentive and friendly!

We stopped at Lou's Place on a whim and were completely blown away by the whole experience! We didn't have a booking, but Sebastian very quickly found us a table and made us feel right at home. He also gave us some amazing suggestions about what to order, and his passion and knowledge about the food was obvious! We were definitely not disappointed... the food was even more delectable than Sebastian promised! From what we saw, heard and experienced, everyone else working at Lou's Place was just as friendly, professional and passionate as Sebastian - so refreshing to be somewhere with staff who seem happy to be working there!! We will 100% be returning!

Lovely spot for lunch in the Barossa. My partner and I were blessed with perfect weather so we sat outside with umbrellas providing shade. Every dish was fresh and tasty. Servings very generous and service was great! One tiny negative was the chair - not the most comfortable considering it was quite a long lunch!

Our first visit and the 6 of us loved every moment. One of the best dining experiences we have had.Amazing service from everyone. We don't think we have had service better than what Lou's staff gave today. Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive.The dishes ordered were beautifully placed and explained in front of us and oh my they were delicious. The homemade focaccia was to die for! The freshest ingredients beautifully and thoughtfully turned into delicious meals. Well done chef and team.Warm and inviting atmosphere for a wonderful long lunch.We will be back.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. The chicken dish was way too salty, another pasta and beef dish not tasty at all. Antipasto probably too big to start compared to size of others. Don't book at 2 as kitchen staff diminished at 3 and we were left waiting for main about 30 mins. If your in a group and not in a hurry then fine otherwise book earlier. We only had 12 and 2 as choices but couldn't do 12. Sunday.

My husband and I stumbled across Lou's place on a recent drive in the Barossa. We saw people siting outside and simply decided to drop in to see what was there. We are so very happy that we did. From the moment we entered we were not only treated to amazing food aromas but absolutely fabulous staff. Each and everyone of the staff made us so welcome...nothing was a problem. Their smiles and enthusiasm was contagious. But, their knowledge of the food, and wine was exceptional. We make particular mention of Sebastian. For such a young man (and we are allowed to say that as we are more than triple his age), his enthusiasm and dedication to his craft was outstanding. We envisage a long and successful career for him in hospitality.Thank you to everyone at Lous' place and Miranda wines for a pleasurable and memorable afternoon.Did we mention that the food and wine was also outstanding :)We chose feed me from the menu and were not disappointedJacky and Dave
