I've seen Dr Warr numerous times. I've found him to be very professional and thorough. He even called to give me my blood results over the phone as he was going to be going on holidays and it was around Christmas so didn't want me to have to wait until he returned.

Feeling unwell? Make sure you avoid Maylands Medical Centre like the plague unless you enjoy being belittled, unheard and treated like the lowest form of bacteria on the planet.Being humiliated by the egomaniac Dr Warr who seemed completely disinterested in my symptoms and more concerned about why i wasn't working left me feeling incredibly rattled and upest. If that wasn't bad enough i then had to contend with the receptionist who seemed far too busy joking with her colleagues to even acknowledge me.I am absolutely shocked that such a place even exists. It needs a thorough investigation and overhaul.

I have had only the best treatment from the receptionists, nurses and especially the Drs. They are very helpful. I see Dr Wise and she is the best Dr I know. Kind, considerate and thorough. I have seen Dr Warr too and he was lovely. I have no problems with him treating me either. They have a wide range of doctors specialing in different areas.

Quite a few years ago, I was a young mum, living in poverty and struggling with alcohol addiction. Life was very hard. I fell sick while staying with family on Rottnest and had to be flown off the island. I could not understand why the hospital staff treated me horribly - even though I was very unwell, was vomiting blood and could not walk, they discharged me. Later, other family members fell ill, and we thought it may have been a virus. When I went to see Dr Warr, he knew all about it - it turns out he had told the hospital that I was just a drunk. He then proceeded to berate me for the whole appointment, refusing to listen to me, while I cried with my toddler on my lap. The shame and humiliation of this experience set back my recovery by many years, and I have never forgotten it. I hope that he has since become educated in addiction and in trauma-informed care. From the reviews I've seen, it doesn't look like it. Avoid.

Rubbish GP who essentially tried telling me multiple psychiatrist diagnoses of adult ADHD was bunk. Refusal to co-prescribe stimulants. I don’t respect doctors who choose to ignore a diagnosable illness. It means you are not doing your job to assist a patient.

I have been a patient of Dr Warr for 12 years and he's always been great. No-nonsense, reassuring and professional. I have been referred by him for a number of further tests and specialist treatments without complaint or problems. The reviews on here that single him out seem to be based on people's expectation of a doctor being a mindless pill dispenser or mollycoddler. If you would like to speak to a grown-up medical professional who may expect you to take ownership of your own health outcomes, I highly recommend him.

Bring a book, some form of entertainment or even a sleeping bag cause you might be waiting a while. Always extremely slow service here. I arrive on time for my appointment and I write this review sitting in the waiting room 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time. This wouldn’t be the first time this has happened and there isn’t even an apology or an update on wait times from the reception staff. When I do ask how much longer I’m told there is still two patients in front of me even though I’m the only one in the waiting room and there’s at least another half an hour wait. Absolutely ridiculous service and I ended up walking out. Will never book here again and thank you for wasting my time.

On my second visit to this clinic, not bulk-billed:Dr. Warr was thorough, personable and professional. I left with confidence for my next steps. The receptionist was shining under pressure of a busy practice. Apologies, I don't recall her name.

I do not recommend this practice, and I would like to echo the others who have called for an improvement to the quality and accessibility of GP Clinic in Maylands. I feel for healthcare staff working in an underfunded and understaffed environment, but an abrasive and dismissive attitude towards patients seeking care is not an appropriate or productive response to such conditions.
