Electric Vehicle Charging Station

Went here early in the morning and it was quiet except for an abandoned blue Kona EV plugged into one of the type 2 ports and not charging. Seriously once you're finished unplug and leave the spot! I used the CCS2 fast charger and received 45kW charge rate. No shelter, no facilities when shops are closed. Closest public toilet is on the main street about 5 minute walk away which was open.

Great that it's free and it's in a convenient location however, it needs shade and a longer DC cable. The DC charger cable is so short you have to park offset to thr charger OR it rests against the paintwork.

Easy to find in large carpark behind Kmart, no shade so very hot in summer. Short walk to shops and main street. Free charging with renewable energy, thanks Uni of Qld.

1-2 minute walk to Shopping Centre. Away from busy part of carpark, which I prefer.

Easy to use and free. Thanks UQI did have to reboot the charging unit by pressing the emergency stop to remove an error message. Once I did that it worked a treat :-)

Free slower charging great. Fast charger still dead.

Easy and not congested.

The chargers are in a quiet back corner of Acacia Avenue car park behind Rose City Shopping Centre.Well lit at night.Bit of a walk to shopping centre.Not sure about access to toilets when shops and shopping centre not open outside business hours.Charging station location is very central to Warwick as well as being handy for people travelling on the several highways that pass through the town.Warwick’s position at the intersection of two major highways makes it ideal as an electric vehicle charging stop.The University of Queensland (owner of the Warwick Solar Farm) installed two stations equipped with three charging bays which can charge three vehicles at a time. Southern Downs Regional Council provided a lease for the land and access to existing electricity conduits.2019-05-10 Councillor Rod Kelly said “UQ will provide the car charging service at no cost for the foreseeable future ..."

Nice location. Has pretty much everything around that you would want.
