Mayfield Garden
Visited on 20 May 2023Being tempted by all social media craze of beautiful Autumn colors of Mayfield garden,We had to make the trip. Bad enough it was a gloomy day and most of the leaves of the trees are fallen already.Really big and charming garden middle of the plains. The festival period is over and ticket prices are back to 22$ per adult.Private garden with maze and Chinese garden is off to public now.But there were still fev trees shading it’s colors and we were managed to take some beautiful pictures. The cafe on the entrance is amazing but crowded. There are ample free parking available, places for you to eat outside the restaurant.

It’s a beautiful garden. 65 hectares, Well maintained. Australia's largest privately-owned, cool climate garden. Took us around 3 hrs to walk around. Entry fee is $35 per person. An hour drive from Blue Mountains.

It could even be a 3 starts, but I liked its ponds in the autumn. For Sydney siders there are similar or more beautiful gardens for example in Mount Wilson. However, the ponds and the design makes this garden different. I think the garden has a lot more potential and the cafe can do better.

It’s a pleasant place. Ambulatory accessible restaurant and toilets. Wheel chairs may be difficult for trail walks as there are some stairs in walk. But most of the places we can visit them.Overall, a good serene place!! You are bound to breath lot of good quality oxygen!!! Total walk is bound by couple of gardens, a round trip walk is about 90mins depends on how many photographs you want to take.. no water refill points and no restaurants enroute trail. It’s pretty cold! Advised to wear proper thermal jackets to cover yourself. The facility would also provide, camp fire and throw blankets for people to be comfortable.Entry to adult is $22 and kids is $10 and infants <3 is free. Concession and family tickets are also available.

Chilly weather and a great place to visit with friends and family. 3 hrs a drive from Sydney due to traffic. Beautiful scenery and playing in the maze are a must. The price is $35 for adults and $30 for concessions. Do not order your food from the kiosk menu, need to wait for 1.5 hr to get pizza and even after a long wait they couldn't deliver and we had to get a refund. Also had to wait 1 hour simply to get coffee after ordering. Would have a rate of -10 for their service.

I recently visited Mayfield Garden and I must say it was an absolutely breathtaking experience! The garden is beautifully designed with stunning landscapes, water features, and a variety of colorful flowers and plants that create a picturesque view. I was amazed by the attention to detail in every corner of the garden. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were well-maintained and clean. The garden offers a variety of activities for visitors, including garden tours, picnics, and seasonal events. Overall, I highly recommend Mayfield Garden for anyone who loves nature and beautiful scenery. It's a must-visit destination for anyone in the NSW area."

Mayfield Garden
Three hours drive from Sydney. If you would like to hang with your family and friends, then I would suggest you to visit the garden specially during Autumn festival which is in April. I would suggest you to bring your own food as there are plenty of open spaces where you can arrange your own picnic. The garden is huge so defiantly suggest you to arrive as early as possible. Would love to visit again during Winter festival. Can't wait for it!

It's a spectacular place to visit during autumn. Amazing fall colours tree and lush green garden looks like a portrait picture. so many beautiful picture-perfect spots for taking photos. It's a huge garden with many different themes, and the maze is one of the best attractions. A nice cafe is there at the entrance of the garden. We visited during the autumn festival and was awesome. Takes the whole day to see everything, and it's a lot of walking but worth it

Mayfield Garden
A fantastic garden with strong autumn colours coming through, an abundance of maple trees of different varieties, beautifully landscaped gardens for a reasonable entry fee. An absolute stunner and worth the drive in peak Autumn season. They are in the middle of Nowhere (Oberon) which means you shouldn't rely on mobile phone reception, yet somehow they keep busy with a fairly full car park. At absolute peak you might have to book your tickets beforehand, so pay attention. Looking forward to coming back in spring, and autumn again, then spring...
