Gosnells is perhaps not on most peoples bucket list but if you are into our pioneer history then it does have plenty to offer and the Wilkinson Homestead is a wonderful example of an early 20th century building with a collection of memories that offer a glimpse into a not too distant less hectic life.

Visited today , a remarkable place , a lot of history of the local area, Met a lovely man playing the piano , for some one who is 82 years of age he plays it so brilliantly I could listen to him all day long , Also a lovely and friendly knowledgeable guide and staff , to guide you around if needed , Highly recommend this place , Well worth a visit , bring your parents along with you , it will take them on a trip down memory lane! Don't forget to drop a few coins in the donation box to show your appreciation for keeping the past alive .

The Wilkinson homestead is open on Tuesday and Sunday only. There was a watercolour painting workshop on last Sunday by the City of Gosnells. A lot of antiques were keeping so well and the staff are all very nice and helpful. There also a Ghost walk held regularly.

Beautifully preserved. Very sympathetic to the period. The tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. Recommend this to all ages.

Nice location. Volunteer guides were very nice and knowledgeable about the museum. There was an older gentleman playing piano beautifully.
