Sorry but after 30 years of coming here enough is enough..... takeaway pizzas were made and cooked 25 minutes BEFORE our pasta was cooked and they were cold when we were finally given them. More interested in the tourist than the locals....

Your Bolognese Pizza & BBQ mushrooms were SENSATIONAL!! I haven’t been to this restaurant for over 20yrs. These meals were just as I remember. So happy you’re still in Newport! Oh and the Margy’s were excellent too!

We went for dinner at Newport Lucky & Peps. We ordered 4 meals of veal saltimbocca, veal lemon parsley, chicken parmigiana and carbonara. After placing the order we had to wait for more than 1 hour for the food even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. Eventually when we got the food, it was EXTREMELY disappointing. Both veal dishes had two VERY VERY thin pieces of veal with some vegetables and saltimbocca was barely layered. Chicken parmigiana wasn't much better either. Carbonara was alright.The food is overpriced and veal portions were unusually small. We overheard the waitress informing the next table that they were out of veal and wondered whether that was the reason for VERY VERY thin veal. Will not go again for dining in, that's for sure.

Nice food, was too eager to eat it that I missed the food photo. Staff helpful and attentive. Stays open late, and serves gelato.Gnocchi on menu, but can't tell you if it's home made, I'll try that next time.Thanks for a good experience.Dinner, dessert and drinks

Admittedly, we hadn't been to Lucky & Peps until our son started work there.Thought we'd pop in and check it out ..... and we love it!There's such a great vibe, last night we sat at the bar while we waited for friends to join us. Husband had a nice cold beer and I had a glass of Pinot Noir. A bonus is the lovely comfy bar stools!The staff are great, there are so many options to order on the menu and they do great gluten free pasta dishes.

We've ordered home delivery twice in recent weeks and on both occasions the food was hot and delicious - really good but each time delivered an hour late. On the first occasion, I called the restaurant and was told the restaurant was having delivery problems but they were sorting them out. On the second occasion I received a phone call from the restaurant about 30 minutes into the delay saying there was a problem with our food but it was on its way. It would be great if you could improve home delivery service because we really liked your food. Don't become Unlucky & Peps.

Food is good but a little overpriced. Ended up having to order more food as the price indicated the servings would be bigger than they were. Love the live music - especially Tightly Packed - excellent atmosphere and lots of fun.
