The prices are high but absolutely everything in here is beautiful - the owners have done an incredible job curating an utterly gorgeous shop.

April 2022: sadly I've updated my rating from five to four stars. On our most recent visit, on the afternoon of the 24th April, our visit was dampened by the rude and grumpy lady in attendance. We've been purchasing items from the Drill Hall (and their subsequent business) for several years, and we've always been met with kind and courteous members of staff. This Sunday just gone, we were met with disapproving looks and sour faces from the staff member. This made transactions extremely uncomfortable and unnerving. Hopefully this is a one off event.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2020: This place is a dream come true! The Drill Hall is an antique hunter's candy store! The staff are absolutely wonderful and helpful and know their store inside out! If you cannot find what you're searching for, just ask and they'll assist. Granted this antique store isn't the cheapest, however the quality of their items far outweighs some (not all) of their local competition.

Hate to use the term but - OMG !!! This place is amazing. If there isn't something here that fascinates you then I think you're a bit of a dull person indeed.
