Don't bother with Craig, he is rude and unprofessional and doesn't keep his word on timelines. In fact in this case he chose not to even provide a quote and was clearly annoyed when I followed up 7 days later to find out where the quote was. I couldn't recommend Craig from Knox Fencing more highly. He is without question the best tradesman I've ever dealt with for any job - ever!Craig reached out so promptly after I submitted an enquiry, and got out within 24 hours to do a quote. I was at work when he went over to do my quote, and he called me when he was there to run through everything I'd requested to make sure he had captured everything I was after. He sent through his quote the same day, and called me to make sure it was all clear and to see if I had any questions.When we gave Craig the go ahead, as we'd been at work when he came around to quote, he offered to pop by to meet us on his weekend just so we could meet in person and so he could walk us through what he'd be doing and to seek our thoughts on gate placement etc to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.Craig ran us through what the process would be as far as would be happening on each day, how long it would take, etc - and every single thing he said he would do, he did exactly in line with what he'd told us (no last minute changes, no extras suddenly required, never ran even a minute late, etc). Craig was on time to the minute every time he came to our house for the several days the job took to complete. He even came back on a public holiday to finish the job off as he didn't want to rush it.Separate to how much of a pleasure Craig was to deal with from start to finish, the quality of his work is absolutely extraordinary. I've honestly never seen such perfect work! My husband is a fussy tradesman himself and he was gobsmacked by how beautifully our new gate and fences were done - every single bit of them was millimetre perfect, and you could just see how much effort and time went into every bit of them - no shortcuts anywhere. You can tell by looking at them how much care and pride Craig puts into his work.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I got multiple quotes for this job, and in every possible way Craig stood out by far as the best man for the job. If you find yourself on Google reading through reviews, trying to work out who to contact for a fence/gate job (the way I did!) save yourself the time of dealing with anyone else and just go with Knox Fencing.
