We have been here before and found that it was just as elite now, as it was 18 months ago. However, for the relatively sparse menu and the high prices of the meals, cocktails and wines, the quality of the food wasn't all that we expected. The black pasta/squid dish was bland in flavour and my snapper was floating in a broth that made it rather watery to taste and drippy to eat.The chocolate mousse dessert was delicious. The capuchino was a very bitter blend of coffee, which swamped the dessert flavours.

Great food, spectacular service in an idyllic location. The menu is varied and delicious and the wine list is extensive. The staff are friendly and very helpful when trying to decide on food or beverages. Thanks to Owen for looking after us and Nicki for the terrific wine selection. My wife and I had a most relaxing and sumptuous lunch. Thanks for looking after us.

I only went for the day spa but what a treatment!Staff are lovely, the products used are top quality. The music was soft and pleasant, candles not too strong and they are very skilled at what they do.Everything was just amazing, even the slippers they give you are made from plants not plastics. My first time there but I will be going again!

the room (Garden Villa) was excellent and the grounds were well maintained. The pool seemed to be a bit cloudy and not inviting to swim in. The restaurant food was average as well as the bar food. The hamburgers at the bar appeared to have been prepared elsewhere and the meat patties were raw inside. The restaurant dinner was not up to the standard for a 5 star resort, we had purchased a pack a ge which included a 3 course dinner however the steaks were only available for an additional $15. Regardless they had a strange taste and we didn't finish them.I understand we had a less than satisfactory experience but would come back if the food was better l, something that others have also noted.

We stayed at Bells for two nights last week, on an Escape Package. I have not stopped raving about this hotel since we left - the decor and attention to detail is absolutely stunning. If you’re a fan of the Hamptons aesthetic you will be in heaven. We stayed in a King Suite and it was generously sized and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and bedding luxurious. The bathroom was great, with an enormous tub and great shower. The deck was very large, and we enjoyed room service outside for breakfast - the design of the space allows for privacy without ever feeling penned in.We were celebrating our ten year anniversary, and arrived to a beautiful hamper and lovely card from the reception team - such a great way to start a trip, and a great treat! The restaurant was great, with friendly and attentive staff - breakfast was a particular highlight, as was the hamburger from Room Service (included in the escape package!) - absolutely delicious. My husband raved about all of the seafood he sampled as well - if you’re a fan, highly recommended! We also spent some time at the day spa, which was a phenomenal experience. The gorgeous theming and friendly and attentive but never overbearing service carried over from the hotel as well. We enjoyed massages and a relaxation facial - perhaps the most relaxing two and a half hours of my life. My therapist Debbie was clearly knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to chat and give me information, and when to allow for relaxation. If you’re staying at the hotel, the spa is a must visit. The larder was also a highlight, with a wonderfully curated selection of luxe products and incredible pastries. My husband took the advice of reception and enjoyed a hike to Putty Beach - the hotel even offers a pick up service for hikers so you can walk down without having to walk all the way back up! This is just one example of the bespoke service offered - another being the offer of enjoying desert back in our room when our server noticed that we were food weary at dinner! The literal only criticism I can make is that the entertainment options in the room are a little limited compared with what is available these days - it would be great to have access to streaming services, or be able to cast from your phone/iPad to the television. We absolutely adored our stay at Bells at Killcare and will absolutely be back as soon as possible!

This is our 3rd time at Bells Bakery and the service today was deplorable!!! The lady in the bakery charged us for sausage roll, pain au chocolat. Left it on the register and left the store and left us waiting. We didn't know if our food was ready. The sausage roll was cold and when we finally asked reception, who were watching us and other patrons, they called for a other lady who came and told us that she can chuck it on the microwave because the heater is disconnected! There were 2 seperate customers who waited and then left because there was no service. Whilst the 2 ladies in reception (Meg) kept looking over and doing absolutely nothing. Till another customer came in and stared over at reception!Poor service!

Restaurant visit only - service was light touch but friendly. Would have been nice to see a variety of vegetarian dishes with slightly more complexity than what was on offer. The eggplant parmigiana was a huge serve. It’s tasty but a lot of the same flavour. Would have liked if our server suggested we order one and share and then get some of the delicious sides. Was impressed with their low and no alcohol menu.

My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. It was a spontaneous decision and we are so glad we made. The accommodation was more than we could have asked for.The fire place set the mood as well as the underfloor heating on the bathroom and the deep free standing copper bath. The staff were very attentive and caring.Well worth the money spent.Thank you.
