Always a pleasure to Dine at Taste Sawtell. The menu hasn't changed much over time but why should it , the food is always exquisite. Well presented table settings and friendly efficient staff , plus the Chef is a bloody genius and makes a killer potato rosti ! My only advice would be to book as early as possible to avoid missing out on a table

Sawtell / Coffs HarbourLocated on a nice leafy street. Friendly staff. Like any other reasonable restaurant in Coffs Harbour area, they are quite busy. Food was well done, although fried spring roll was a little greasy and potatoes? Reasonably priced

Had dinner at this resturant recently. The food and service was great. However, we ordered the eye fillet MED RARE. The steak came out MED WELL DONE. The waiter was great and agreed with our opinion on the level of cook on the steak and insisted on taking the two servings back to the kitchen to only return moments later to say the chef cut one in half and in the kitchen light its MED RARE. I asked if the owner was the chef and was told he was. Can't imagine telling customers they are wrong when the waiter agreed and insisted on returning to the chef. What a shame ego and arrogance got in the way of an obviously talented chef. Photos attached you be the judge......

Beautiful honest loving food! Dishes were all beautiful, couldn’t fault anything! Wines are a great choice too. Sawtell is lucky to have a restaurant this good! Thanks

Beautifully presented restaurant, the meals were gorgeously presented and tasted just as good.Would highly recommend the rib eye medium rare, was cooked perfectly.

Told it was the best restaurant in the area and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and welcoming, just a fabulous night. Will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Went with another couple to celebrate their Birthdays with dinner as a gift. 3 of us had 3 courses , one had 2. Two bottles of wine and three light beers.Service was friendly and knowledgeable , efficient and dishes all arrived hot and fresh. Lovely floor staff, great food and generous servings. We'll be back!
