Absolute favourite Chinese in Newcastle. Food is so delicious and flavoursome every single time. Definitely recommend coming at lunch for Yum Cha as their menu is extensive and super fresh. Recommend the soy sauce fried noodles, shanghai pork buns and crispy chicken. Definitely pricey but 100% worth it for the quality.

Small restaurant but clean, fast & friendly service. All the dish we ordered for yumcha was wonderful, the wrapping of the dumplings was made right that it don't fall apart when pick up with chopsticks.

Service was great! Tripe was a bit chewy and the Xiao long bao was kind of overdone (see photos). A bit expensive per dish compared to other yumcha placesOtherwise still a nice place to have lunch when you are craving yumcha!

Nice restaurant serving dim sum favorites. There are other different ala carte dishes too. Service is fast and friendly. The century egg porridge is thick and savory. Roasted duck and prawn dim sum are ok. The fried radish was bland.

Wow, when I saw this restaurant advertising yum cha, I thought it’d be untraditional Chinese food and after my first bite, I was wrong. I had doubted Newcastle had anything close to some Sydney Chinese restaurants to match anywhere closely with satisfying dining results. The flavours of each dish were just amazing and will take you to China when eating.I feel that the table waiters could be more attentively as I wasn’t the only table searching for assistance and the “service bell button” on the table did light up when pressed though no one arrived either.Once there was table service, they were very friendly and focused on your service needs. There is undercover and on-site parking within the shopping centre close by as well as toilets; you’ll find this restaurant in “The Corner” area of the centre. This was a great experience and no doubt I’ll be returning, thank you Lee.

Satisfied my yumcha cravings. Food was freshly cooked/heated, flavoursome. Only rating slightly lower because some dishes such as the chicken feet was quite salty and perhaps most of these items are high in sodium - but it is nevertheless guaranteed delicious! Despite that, would definitely return for more when travelling on the road again!

Updated 27.Dec.2021: we dined in again, ordered Barramundi with sweet and sour sauce. It could be nice if it wasn’t ‘soaked’ in way too much sauce, made it taste too ‘rich’.I always order from Lee’s kitchen when we go to Charlestown Square Food Court. But to Lee’s Yum Cha today was only our second visit. All are still the same like our first visit: friendly service, yummy foods and delicious tea. We’ll be back.

I would grade this establishment as the one of the best restaurant offering Chinese cuisine. My favour is the Sichuan cuisine in addition to the chicken and beef noodles. The dumplings are also always very nice. The staff is very accommodating.
