Old Bandstand
Lovely spot for a picnic. Playground, toilet, cafe all nearby. Explore the whole Fitzroy Gardens while you're there.

The minimized old bandstand is spectacular in design, without much interests inside it. It do not seems like a proper tourist attraction, which is more like a normal landmark inside the epic Fitzroy Gardens.

Its a very pretty little bandstand in a very pretty park (great place to escape to when taking a break from the Hospitals next door). Under cover and a great little setup for photo nerds. Oh and seats for cannodling or catching pokemon whichever be your fancy.

Old Bandstand
The square 'Bandstand' of Corinthian-style design was designed and constructed by George Dodd in 1864. Its sides are enclosed with low cast-iron fencing with bench seating, and its roof is tiled. It stands stately atop a rise on the eastern side of the Fitzroy Gardens, and affords views back over the historical gardens to the bustling city centre.The bandstand pavilion was originally used for military recitals and sacred music performances but today it is a popular venue choice for garden registry style wedding ceremonies and bridal party photography. The Old Bandstand at Fitzroy Gardens looks just stunning when made up for a wedding!

A lovely old feature in the Fitzroy Gardens. A few benches to test weary bones on! A nice spot to bring you own chair and look across the gardens. There should be more of these!
