Recently I purchased a pair of hand made ceramic mugs online from Catapult Design as a present for a friend who absolutely loved them. They were delivered very quickly and wrapped beautifully. I have visited Catapults showroom in Ultimo numerous times and am always wowed by how gorgeous the showroom and displays are. Would highly recommend if you are looking for hand made, Australian designed, different from the rest pieces.

I had a great experience with catapult. When we started our business I was looking for contemporary but comfortable furniture for some very small, oddly shaped rooms which we were struggling to get the right look for. Catapult came in and helped suggest and style different ideas. The rooms now look spacious and welcoming. The furniture looks like it was made for the space and is such lovely quality - being Australian made a huge bonus. Can’t fault them on their service and style.

*UPDATE*Since writing my original review, the owner kindly reached out to me and explained what went wrong, and has taken all the necessary steps to rectify the situation. I do believe that it was the fault of one staff member, and had I reached out to the owner in the first place, we may have avoided the problems detailed below. Regardless, we are really happy with how they have dealt with the situation and will certainly purchase from them again - especially since they really do stock very nice, one of a kind pieces!------Really nice furniture from local designers, but the customer service is beyond disappointing. We went to their showroom to purchase a light and after a month of emails that either went unanswered and quotes not sent, we ended up going through another channel to purchase the light we wanted. When we were contacted after 3 months of silence (!) to see if we were still interested in the light, we relayed our experience, but again we received no response, no apology and no explanation was given for the months of silence. Perhaps they only deal with clients who are large businesses, but it's quite a disappointing experience for your ordinary customer, and I would think also for the designers they represent. If you are after service and speed, then I would give them a miss, but if you have half a year to wait for a product, then it's worth trying to purchase through them.

But we also love their diverse range of wonderful products and their fantastic team.The furniture and accessories I have bought from Catapult are focal points and significant design features in my home.For example, the leather bar stools combine style with practical functionality, while the copper lighting creates a radiant glow that I have never seen replicated in another home.Next on my shopping list is their 100% linen bedding!I must say that dealing with Director, Leigh Johnson, was an absolute pleasure. Leigh’s attention to my specific and perhaps unusual needs was exemplary. He went above and beyond any expectations I have had as a customer in the past.I would and have recommended Catapult to friends and colleagues, and have directed them straight to Leigh to receive a personalised customer service experience.

Leigh & the team at Catapult did not disappoint; from the service to quality custom design, service integration & finishes, the team were exceptional in delivering a large scale commercial fitout on time and defect free. Highly recommend for any high-end products - look forward to nominating their products on future projects to come.
