Market Tyres & Mechanical

Finding a good mechanic is very hard these days. Unfortunately market st tyre and mechanical have been disappointing to deal with, I paid nearly $400 for a roadworthy and service and literally the next week my car was starting to shake and it turned off on the freeway.. this is concerning and not safe. Especially being a roadworthier? I know for a fact they wouldn’t service a mans car the way they serviced mine.. a young girl who knows nothing about cars. This is abuse of power. Aaron needs to improve his customer service skills you can not deal with customers who are calling to make a complaint by speaking over them and not listening to them. This is beyond disturbing as it is a safety matter and they have a duty of care. Do not go too this mechanic!

After having two great experiences with Market St, I went there a third time for a roady several weeks ago. The car needed a lot done, and was told they would get back to me with 'quotes' on parts required within 3 days. It's now 2.5 weeks later, and after chasing them up twice without a single call made from them to me, I called them a third time. After lying to me and telling me he 'called and left me a message' (no record of that 'message' from my end, maybe he called the wrong number) they gave me a ridiculous quote to complete the work. If you don't want to do the work guys, how about just telling me instead of wasting three weeks of my time and almost costing me the sale of the vehicle. I was able to find the parts required online within 15 minutes. Will never go back. Will never recommend this place again. Incredibly disappointing.

I totally disagree with you - I have been taking my car to these boys for approx. 7 years now.I started going there after another mechanic told me I needed new brakes but when I went to Market Tyres & Mechanical they said I would get another 5000kms out them! They are very honest and very price competitive.Thanks guys :)

Fixed a puncture on my tyre within' 10 minutes. Didn't need to make an appointment or nothing. And it only cost me $20 to have it repaired!Moreover, there are some nice looking cars, that are undergoing restoration which is great to see if you're a car enthusiast like myself.Will be back again!
