Not executed well at all.We had been looking forward to this for a while and so got there early only to join a massive queue in the blistering sun. On approach we heard staff calling people to the front if buying tix on the day, which was a bit rude considering all the pre purchased ticket holders had to wait.Once in, it seemed that queuing was the order of the day. Some stall holders were not even close to being ready to serve food by the time we got in, which was surprising considering one of these was stocking the well advertised lobster rolls and also the fact that the festival had now been open for 45 minutes.Once we ventured further into the festival the queues only got worse and most of them were so long we had no idea what people were lining up for! This festival had been well advertised around Melbourne in particular and it felt that this locally volunteer-run event may have taken on more than they could handle, which is a shame. After around 40 minutes we finally decided to cut our losses and walked back to the pub in town and had lunch there. Ironically it was oysters, prawns and a cold beverage to wash away the experience.

Unfortunetly it was a thumbs down. The spacing was not utilised well. The dry carpark that was used for a big jumping castle ( which had no shade for children) took up room. Some of the food stalls should have been there. There was no first aid for such an event in the middle of summer, no free sunscreen or water. High risk of of heat stroke as everyone was squashed lining up for over an hr for one stall for food. Ipersonally didnt see one stall selling water, only soft drink. A few umbrellas for the tinest bit of shade. Not enough cooks on some stalls for the capacity of customers.Online it was stated there was a seperate line fpr ticket owners so they could go straight through, nope.. not untill everyone was kicking up a stink about it. Wont be back again sorry.

Very disappointed. You pay $20 to get in but yet if you walk on the beach you can access the festival for free.Be prepared to wait in lines for food for over a hour.I've never seen so many long lines for food at a festival. Some people waited for a hour I was told, only to be told they've run out of food.

FAR too many people there for the venue size, felt like a sardine. The queues were AT LEAST an hour long for each food stall, with no queueing system in place. Left shortly after a disappointing paella.
