I live in QLD and was looking for a hire company for my daughter's wedding in Sydney. Walkers Party Hire North Shore was recommended to me by our caterer and they were excellent. I spoke with Lyndall by phone and then met her at the shop a few weeks ago. She had excellent suggestions for me with no pushiness or upselling of her products and her ideas for decorating our hall were absolutely perfect. Using their bamboo trees as screens gave just the desired softening effect to the reception area. Mixing cocktail tables and stools with small café tables and chairs meant everyone could see the cake and speeches during the event. Always courteous and professional - the orders, invoicing, last minute changes, etc were all handled promptly. Our wedding was last weekend and delivery and pick up went off without a hitch despite wet weather, limited parking and having to carry equipment upstairs to the hall. The delivery men were prompt and friendly and the shade shelter was erected quickly. As well as the shelter, we hired cocktail tables and white stools, lycra table socks, round and square café tables, 15 tablecloths, 70 white wedding chairs, black folding chairs, cutlery, glassware, crockery and 15 artificial bamboo trees. The equipment was all in excellent condition and the tablecloths were perfectly pressed, wrapped in plastic and marked by size to make it easy to set up the venue. The delivery man even gave us a mobile number to contact him in case we had any weather related problems with the shade shelter. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRODUCT!This is the second time we have used Mark and the team. They are exceptional at communicating and advising on the correct product. We had a 40th birthday party in our garden and they set up without fuss whilst we were at work and removed a few days later. It was a really stormy and windy weekend and the marquee didn't move an inch! Thanks again and we will be back!

A big thank you to Mark and his team for the excellent service provided for our daughter's 21st party. The service was very professional from the initial inspection, where Mark promptly turned up and gave advice on what would be suitable for our backyard, to the set up and removal of the marquee and other party supplies. We hired a clear marquee which was fantastic for our backyard party. As the rain fell during installation I knew it was the best plan! Walkers Hire North Shore made the whole process easy. They were available at short notice and the guys who came to install and remove were right on time which is so important when you have lots planned in the lead up to a big event.
