We booked our Mum's 80th here because of the reviews and it was really fantastic. Deb was really great as my contact for the event, the night went off without a hitch, everything was on time snd managed when we weren't, the food was amazing, there wasn't one guest that returned a plate, my peeps can be fussy, and everyone was satisfied, full and loving their dishes. Deb, Ben and staff went the extra mile in terms of 'thinking' about our event and the ways to make it more easy, more pleasurable, and managed items that if your not in the industry you wouldn't notice, and my people didn't, they were 'that' good.The dining room is incredible, full of old world charm and leadlight windows, as it's cold country they have a wood fire going in the middle of the dining room that is set at such a good temperature it's comfortable no matter where you sit. These are only some of the things I noticed that are just done by these people but not advertised to make your experience that bit extra.

Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom with great water pressure in the shower. Plenty of blankets and pillows and an air con unit that worked. Dark curtains made it easy to sleep. Well stocked tea/coffee station with cups and glasses only. It had a funny smell, perhaps smoke but I put some essential oils which helped. Check in/our straightforward. Restaurant closed due to holiday season.

The room was clean and large, comfortable and warm and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfortable and my partner had a wonderful sleep.The meal in the restaurant was delicious and one of the best meals I have eaten at a very reasonable price. A wonderful place to stay.

Clean and comfortable, nice area, handy to town. Wonderful food in the onsite restaurant, the best food in town. I can highly recommend a visit here. The hosts are very welcoming and charming who are only too willing to accommodate.

My family and I enjoyed a very nice night at the restaurant. The food was delicious, great sized meals, all cooked to perfection, great menu and some really wonderful items to choose from. Staff were so accommodating of our young children, so polite and so helpful. Great price for the portion size and quality also.Everything was just PERFECT!!

Country hospitality at its finest!Deb and Ben go above and beyond to make.me feel warm and welcoming.Thier customer service outstanding, friendly and generous.The rooms are clean. The bedding is comfortable with good heating.The Chef is internationally trained, comprising five star quality cusiuine. really satisfing experience.

Food was amazing. Rooms were clean and tidy. Good location close to town. On-site laundry was helpful and room was freshened by cleaners each day. Deb and son were friendly and accomodating.
