This fantastic collection is not to be missed! Tucked away in the light industrial area, you will find this amazing gallery and museum.Easy access to parking, including wheelchair access. The artistic creations are amazing, and there is plenty to choose from for all budgets. The museum has a small entry fee ($5), but it's big on appeal. The displays are well curated, and feature agricultural, historic, military and local interest items. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.I highly recommend a visit to this family owned and operated business.

John we cannot Thank you enough for showing us through your absolutely amazing man cave wood work shed. 35 years of doing your passion truly shows mate. My dad and brothers who were sawmillers would've loved this place. That's art in another level mate! As for the War musuem Your knowledge on war history was amazing to listen to. It's history that's for sure! Mary Darryl Horrie and Jo.

This place is fantastic! We were lucky enough to have John (the owner) give us a tour and a personal history of his family and an unreal history lesson on each of the exhibits he has on display. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10.

Called into this place today 8th March 2023. Was captivated just from the displays in the yard let alone what was inside. Beautiful woodwork displays. Then went into the museum. For a small fee. Well worth it. The time and effort that went into building these displays to teach history, was outstanding. The owner John, is a friendly chap and happy to answer and explain anything. Well worth going. There you go John, I managed to do a review. From the Victorians in the big gold bus. Cheers

A really lovely visit!! The Wood Gallery itself is very cool and has some amazing pieces. We went to the Museum as well and really enjoyed the dioramas. Clearly a lot of love, effort and time has gone into creating it. Worth the visit and felt good to support a local West Australian business after the last two years!!

This is not a normal wood store, this is a hidden treasure that you must visit. The passion and the history this place has is something that words cannot express. The owner, is a magnificent storyteller that not only shares fascinating stories with you, he also teaches you life lessons to share with your kids and future generations. Our 15 year old, loved the visit and told us to come back next time around.Support local businesses and a massive thanks to the owner for making our day.

I've ben passing through Australind not until recently when I explored the little town. I was very impressed and would love to visit again. The museum is one spot to visit if you dont want to miss out on the beauties within the town. Managed by some very nice and friendly bloke called John and his son( 4th and 5th generation of a family owned outfit). He's done an amazing job collecting war memorabilias, arts n crafts, historical figures, equipment etc into the building and ensuring the sustainability of history. I'll recommend this place anytime for someone who appreciates history ( who shouldn't anyway). Great job John and thank you for the time.
