Jiji Rescue Cat Cafe

After taking a walk around the sugarloaf crescent on the weekend, I needed a coffee around sat 3pm so popped in. This is a non-planned visit.Feeling curious I added a 20 min session to my coffee order. It’s my first visit to an animal cafe and I am glad to be this one. The session I had with the cats are lovely, the coffees are pretty good too. Areas set up for waiting customers are relaxing both indoor and outdoor. Ideal for just coffee and cookies before/after session.Rooms for interaction with the cats are cosy, clean and can be inspirational for ppl thinking about adopting a cat.The lady who greeted my first visit is passionate and warm. Concept of the cafe well explained. Even tho this particular afternoon seems to be a busy one for her.My Interaction with the cats are private (not shared with other customers), feels like playing with the cats in own living room.At the time of my visit there’s a kitten room with newly adopted little ones. The spaces are set up so the shy one can be shy :)I think I will visit again soon.

I took my 2year old daughter and we had a great experience! She loved the cats and we even went back for extra time. The cats were so friendly and well looked after. A great little outing and it certainly got us thinking about adopting one some time soon! We will be back

We have had two beautiful experiences with our active toddler at Jiji’s rescue cat cafe. The owner cares a lot about the welfare of the rescue kittens and environment is a lovely space for them. I enjoyed the experience of also teaching my daughter about using gentle and kind hands when stroking the cats and using.a quiet indoor voice. Driving home she yelled out So Fun Cat Miaow Cafe So Fun So Fun!! Thanks for a lovely Sunday afternoon relaxing with these adorable cats.

Jiji Rescue Cat Cafe was just divine. We took our 2 year old toddler and he interacted with kittens with some treats and toys and they were so engaging and happy to come up for a pat. The owner ensures the welfare of the cats and continues to aim to have them all adopted out to the right home.The rules are simple and the place is very cosy.

I have visited Jiji Rescue Cat Cafe several times with my young daughter, she loves it! It’s a very friendly, welcoming place - the owner Yuki is lovely and so passionate about the welfare of the animals in her care. You can enjoy great coffee / snacks and hang out with the adorable rescue cats in a cosy, clean environment. So calming if you’re having a stressful day! It’s fun and also so valuable for kids to understand how to interact with animals in a gentle respectful manner. I love the concept of re-homing rescue cats rather than shopping at a pet store. This is the place I would go to find the perfectly matched pet for your family as you can spend time with several cats and see whose personality is most suited to your home situation.

A lovely experience for the whole family. The kittens are well cared for and we all enjoyed hanging out with them. A wonderful initiative. I hope they all find loving forever homes!

This place is amazing. The cats are well looked after and the space is clean. Sick cats are properly quarantined away from guests, and the cats have another room to escape to if they don't want human interaction. Some other cat cafes dont clean up the litter boxes, but Jiji's was pristine. I can tell how much love and care they have for these animals. One kitten spent 20 minutes on my lap. Matcha latte was great too. Highly recommend supporting this cafe.

What a wonderful cafe and cat rescue site. The space is lovely and there is lots of environmental enrichment for the kittens and places they can get away from the cuddles if they need some time out. Both the cats and the humans had a ball! Will come again soon.Make sure you book in advance.

My young daughter and I have visited the cat cafe a few times now and have loved each visit. Yuki is an incredible owner and has created a space that is so special to be able to visit and interact with the beautiful cats. The animals are clearly very well cared for and the space is clean and inviting. We have had great coffee and snacks too. Most importantly though this venture is providing cats with loving forever homes and that is a cause that is so fantastic. Even if you just pop in for a coffee it’s going to such a brilliant cause. A very special place for the community and I know I’ll be back to say hi to the cats again soon.
