Advanced Timber

Had a great first experience with this place.. I needed a few lengths of Oregon at different sizes to build a picnic table, and although it was daunting to walk into such a warehouse for only a few pieces, the worker collected it all for me, then cut every piece so it would fit in my car, then helped me load it. He was great! I will definitely go back, the prices are cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

20% markup on prices as they feel like it.Terrible experience. Rude man at the front desk today. Said that online prices do not apply to instore pickup. (Even though there are eBay fees!)Said if I wanted eBay prices I can buy online and then come back. What a joke and waste of time.

Summary: extremely bad experience with goods stolen by either the store or the delivery driver taking advantage of an older lady.We had an experienced builder came and measured up the flooring, he sat with the 70 year old woman when she ordered the exact amount required on the phone. When it was delivered it wasn't full sized floorboards but many smaller cuts (leftovers from other jobs?) and it was missing a few square meters.Again the 70 year old woman rang up to see if there was a mistake made, with the builder listening in. They swore blindly that no mistake had been made and refused to consider anything else. The builder got on tried to negotiate politely but the conversation ended in swearing.Went to another store to buy the replacement floorboards. Price was cheaper and wasn't given offcuts.Avoid this place at all costs.

Totally irresponsible. Driver dumped the bunch of timber on my front yard. The timber blocked the main entrance to my house. They also damaged my newly built picket fence when they laid the heavy timber haphazardly onto it. The timber also spilled over into my next door neighbour's front yard and annoyed them. Several timber poked out into the council pavement injuring a passerby's forehead.
