Care Food Co - Texture Modified Pureed Food for Dysphagia and Difficulty Swallowing

My Mum was diagnosed with an oesophagus issue about 18 months ago and can now only eat soft/puréed foods. She had been having soups for dinner this whole time until I came upon Care Food Co during an online search and we decided to give it a go. Mum absolutely loves it! She feels like she is having a ‘normal’ dinner again. She was usually never even hungry at dinner time. However, now she has been requesting her dinner early! Thank you, Care Food Co.

I ordered the bariatric pack post gastric sleeve. It’s easy enough to make purées myself, but the idea of variety and actual interesting favours was really appealing to me. Loving them so far. It’s easy to have a little bit for a few mini meals through the day and even though they are purée the sides have different consistencies which give a nice sense of eating real food. LOVE that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to eat because it’s all just there in the fridge. Definitely recommend

I'm a dietitian working in Aged care and in the community with both aged clients and NDIS clients struggling with Dysphagia. While I haven't tried the products personally, I was extremely impressed when I called to enquire about the range of foods and how I could access meals through Home Care Packages and NDIS. So I could show my clients the products I was sent a sample pack of a couple of meals in the different textures plus some fruit and vegetables in the pouches. The concept of being able to mix and match components of meals is brilliant as many people don't like certain vegetables or starches, so this definitely makes achieving nutritional adequacy that little bit easier. There are no fillers or thickeners - just 100% real food - which is great to know. I was so grateful to find this company as it really assists me with helping my clients more effectively. My mother who is 103 thoroughly enjoyed the main meals. We purchased a one week supply of main meals getting a over all sample of what was on offer. Liked the idea that we could mix it up knowing some foods my mother does not enjoy. We added a couple of apple and pear products.Our aim was to add variety to her diet without the family having to prepare meals for ease of digestion. We chose the bite size meals which gave her no trouble. My mother does not have dysphagia as such, although she can struggle with some food items, especially if they are not moist enough.Her words they really delicious". She is not a sweet tooth and found the sweet corn and sweet potato too sweet for her. Everything else hit the mark. We shall look to order again mixing it up with the food items that she did enjoy.Delivery and service was impeccable

Struggling post op to get the right nutrients in and having to have puree made these meals so easy. After two weeks of liquids then a week of soup it was so nice to taste real food again. hey are really easy to heat up and your customer service is just lovely :)

My partner Adrian post surgery experienced complications resulting in dysphasia. Eventually he was able to tolerate puréed food and he ordered the 7 meal package. The meals are very tasty with a great variety. He highly recommends this food if you are having swallowing issues.

I was having trouble managing to cook food my mother could eat. Someone suggested I cook to minced and moist" which I tried but it was hard work and it wasn't working. I ordered some Care Food meals and she ate them up quickly and happily. I can cook my dinner then warm up and plate hers in a couple of minutes compared to ages with blender and knife.
