Beautiful venue for weddings! Ive been to a couple here and they certainly do not disappoint. The price is reasonable, staff are incredibly helpful and the facilities are large, spacious and well equipped. They allow for you to organise your own food, and have storage facilities for whichever caterers you choose. I think this place would be great not just for weddings but for events in general; the location is away from large roads so noise is kept to pretty much a minimum as a bonus. Check it out if you’re in need of an event space!

Beautiful venue with great lighting and stereo setup. Fit 120+ wedding guests comfortably and everyone loved it. Was a perfect night!

Wow - what a venue!Assembly Yard offers something so unique and special. Our wedding here was amazing! A blank canvas that allows your own vision to shine.The staff went above and beyond for us - they even gave us a call a couple of days before our wedding to ensure any questions we may have had could be answered. The event team also offered great advice in regards to our elderly guests attending (ramp access, suggested seating areas etc). We also had few kids at the wedding, so the huge grassed areas made it the PERFECT place for them to play. The staff also communicated so precisely with our vendors - it made us feel so at ease on the day.It's VERY rare to find a venue that is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. We had a wedding of 100+ guests, making it difficult to find a place in Perth that could cater for quality time inside and under the stars.... Assembly Yard did just that! The barn door made a great 'reveal' for our seated dinner.Our guests LOVED being able to stay local for a wedding and we LOVED being able to entertain them somewhere so different to the 'usual' wedding spots in Perth. You also can't beat that Freo sunset!Thanks AY! x

Great little venue that I've enjoyed photographing on several occasions. Ideal for weddings and especially in the afternoon the building is positioned to give good shade to the guests. Recommended!

We had an amazing wedding that went extra smoothly because of Gio. Planning it remotely was difficult at times but thanks to the amazing Assembly Yard staff it came out wonderfully and who were even able to roll with the punches as the weather changed. Highly recommend the venue and only hope we can attend here again some day as guests!

Very bad service, took our bond money and also tried to charge us extra. On the night we were told everything went very well. Then 3 days after they emailed trying to charge us an extra $250 on top of taking our bond.I would not recommend this venue to anyone

We had our wedding at Assembly Yard in September 2022 and it was the most perfect space, with a beautiful outdoor area and a blank canvas space inside. The staff were very helpful and accommodating that it made planning our wedding a breeze. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a fun and unique event space

Beautiful space for functions that gives the occasion enough privacy and freedom to do what the occasion calls for! Good shade as the sun sets behind the yard and the evening breeze is perfect to cool the grounds especially in summer. May get quite cold in winter! Easy parking too!

We had our Wedding at Assembly Yard in February.The most perfect venue for a summer wedding, we enjoyed our dinner outside under the festoon lighting and candy coloured clouds.Gio our event coordinator was a pleasure to work with, she always happy to help and made our day run smoothly with a big smile on her face.Would highly recommend checking out AY for you wedding or event.Thanks for having us!

The rough lime walkways were very hard on women's footwear & in general to walk upon/along.The grass & developing garden screening were pleasant as was the space in general.Catering was a let-down. The the drinks caravan was functional enough.Given that semi-formal functions are held here, I think the washroom & toilet area needs to reflect that.No privacy for women ( or men) to touch up/attend to personal needs. Or indeed the toilets. Again, semi-formal requires relative facilities.As for a romp with kids on a company Xmas party, it's fine.
