The quality and intensity of instruction from the Karate Senseis is top notch with excellent advice and guidance for kids to deal with bullying and building confidence and respect for themselves and others.

We have been attending this karate school for three years with my son. Attending karate here is a fun, inclusive, encouraging and positive experience. Not only is he learning martial arts but he is learning how to use it in a responsible way in a supportive environment. Everyone we deal with at Impact is just awesome. Highly highly recommend.

I have been a student of Impact Self Defence for more than 14 years in both Karate and now Muay Thai and still love it .. after many years in martial arts I never thought i would compete in tournaments however in 2018 i ventured onto the matts and starting competing and having an amazing time. In 2019 I competed in the Australian Titles and was placed second and later that year went to Japan and won my tournament. I dedicate a those wins and places to the amazing training and commitment we receive from the dedicated and professional instructors at Impact Self Defence. I would highly recommend the Impact Self Defence Centre for anyone wanting to get fit and healthy through martial arts with a club that is more like a family than an organisation.

Impact Self Defence Centre has to be the best Martial Arts and Fitness centre in the Illawarra. Family oriented, friendly and suitable for all ages.

Fantastic teachers for all ages, the school is both a mix of serious training and fun. My Son has now been attending the school for 10 years, and we have been extremely happy with the school.
