The best burgers in town!We always make sure we head here whenever we are in Melbourne from the Gold Coast.We love our burgers and the guys at Sweet Salt always go above and beyond to ensure our meals and experience is always incredible.Thanks for always looking after us guys! We love the new menu, the music in the restaurant and the staff always being so beautiful!!!

It was our first time here and definitely will not be the last! Upon entry, we were warmly greeted by the front of house, David, who took us to our nicely set up table. He took his time to explain the menu to us and how they’re able to cater to our dietary requirements! He had a smile on his face the entire night and definitely made the dine-in experience so much better! Also the chef greeted us and was incredibly warm and kind to us! He even blessed us with some of their donut balls for free at the end of our meal - so fluffy and light, definitely recommend if you visit! They definitely went above and beyond!The menu has a vast variety of burgers, fish and chips and other sides - so many to choose from! The quality of dishes themselves were amazing and is very reasonably priced for the portions and standard of food presented!Definitely will be back!

Hidden gem. One of the best tasting gluten free fish and chips I’ve had for years. Crispy and fresh. The donuts are to die for. Soft and fluffy, you wouldnt think it is gluten free. Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Will surely be coming back.

Staff are super friendly and made us feel special! We were 4 people, arriving for dinner at 00:00, they opened a table that was supposed to be closed. They apologized for not having water - everything was served in take away packs and no available bathroom inside. But it was worth it since they served us the best fish and chips of Melbourne, crispy and gold, very good price for it too. In the end we even got free desert! That was deliciou by the way. Will definitely be back for more! Thanks guys!

Great gluten free fish and chips that are safe for coeliacs.All the details on the QR code enabled menu are super clear as to what is and isn't gluten free. Though I think they should add salad ingredients (I avoid onions so I'd prefer to know).We got a combo for two, fish, chips, salad and sauces. It was great value, better than buying separately.The gluten free batter was light and crispy. Chips were well cooked and not over seasoned - you can actually request your seasoning level on the menu. The fresh salad was great.I also love that they are licensed and stock some unusual Asian drinks. I had a yuzu lime ready to drink and it was great. Beautifully presented too.Staff were super friendly, seating was adequate, hopefully they expand it because it was so busy there by 7pm on a Saturday night. :)

Hands down best tasting and healthiest fish and chips in Melbourne! Loved every bite of my soft shell crab burger and chips. Dave, one of the owners was so down to earth and their dine in service was exceptional. They even realised I was there to have a birthday meal with friends and brought out these delicious monk fruit fried donuts. There were delish! What i love is this is the second time I've eaten there and you don't get that greasy after taste in your mouth when eating fish and chips. Reason being they use such high quality oil which they clean and change regularly. I know this coz I could see them doing it while I was there. Love they are GF friendly.

Cannot express how amazing it is to see my soulmate able to order anything off a menu without being anxious about being glutened.All the gluten free product is cooked completely seperate and have their own stations, it's the first time I've seen something setup this way and after years of orders never once had any allergy issues. To zero surprise.We've been coming here since 2021 and we keep coming back, it's so good. I often use Sweet Salt as my benchmark for other places.Please give this place your patronage, because celiac or no it's a fantastic joint and it's such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.Their range is wonderful and extensive as well and the quality and price point is perfect.I also need to know what they're putting in their burger sauce because it hits different.

What an amazing place! Delicious food and beyond amazing service! Love the care that was taken to ensure that my sisters severe nut anaphylaxis was taken care of. David was fantastic at looking after all our multiple allergies and double checking for cross contamination and everything which we really really appreciate! Thanks so much!

my partner and I always have trouble finding gluten free vegan food and had ordered from Sweet Salt through uber eats before, we decided to go in and order and had hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had in Melbourne. The staff member, I believe his name is David, was incredibly friendly and kind and shared lots with us about their menu and their progress. I could give 5 stars alone for the customer service and the food was just amazing. The experience made our day and we cannot wait to come back!!
