Grawin Club in the Scrub
This place has to been seen with your own eyes. The trip down the rocky corrugated road, the golf course, the way of life out there is something else. The club in the scrub is awesome. It’s so different. The bar tender was fantastic. He was great to talk to. I learnt so much from him and about mining ect. Definitely worth the drive out there

Cheeseburger and Chicken schnitzel burger were some of the best we’ve ever had.Awesome pub, lots of history, friendly staff, cold beer, clean amenities.

What a great place to visit! Thoroughly enjoyed a few drinks here, taking in the view.Fair bit of dirt road which is rough in places so be prepared if you are in a normal car.Cool collection of memorabilia inside with lots of great things to browse through.Well worth the drive out to and enjoy a few beverages.

If your driving out to Lightening Ridge do yourself a favour and drive to extra 70 or so Km out to the Grawin Opal fields and visit the 3 Pubs in the Scrub. Great day trip out from LR. Well done to the 3 licensees of The Club, Glengarry Hilton and Sheppard's Inn for providing this unique experience of outback hospitality. All the more wonderful given Grawin is off the grid but you still manage to offer cold beer and tasty grub. Don't miss these three pubs.

This pub/golf club/camping area is an awesome part of outback NSW and not to be missed! There are showers available for purchase and flush toilets available if you are camping. The pub staff are great and the drinks are cold.If you are going for a golf bring the old clubs. The local men's shed was putting on a BBQ the evening we arrived and the next day they had AMAZING fresh scones and tea. They also have a very unique shop where you can pick up the local craft men's (and womens) work.

Grawin Club in the Scrub
Good iconic country club, food on the Saturday night we camped there was OK as it was all fried. No other option The camp area was good and free with lots of stars. The 18 hole golf course was fun and rough and worth a hit. Only $5. The road in was about 3 ks of dirt road and our motor home handled it easily.
