Everything went well from the measuring to the installing my blinds. In fact things were done quicker and more efficient than they expected. This is my second time working with Whittlesea Drapes and Blinds, recommended by a neighbor and I am very happy.

The kind of service I thought was dead! Really lovely, knowledgable people who went out of their way (literally across town to St Kilda) to quote, measure and fit just one blind! Such a beautiful, high quality Australian made product. I couldn't be happier.

We have been using Whittlesea Drapes & Blinds to install blinds and pelmets in our upstairs bedrooms which we paid a 90% deposit prior to installation. The day of the installation we went upstairs to check on progress and noticed that the pelmets were being forced over the window (in other words the pelmet was too small for the window - not to mention the fact that they were also falling away from the wall because they had not been fixed to the wall correctly) I then checked the level of the blinds and found they were 15mm out of vertical over a distance of 150mm so in other words they were crooked.All the installer had to say was 'it looks like they mucked up on the measure'. The director of the company then attended the following week and remeasured and came back to reinstall for a second time. Although the pelmets fitted this time round they chose to put a white sticker rather than fabric over the top of the pelmet and the edges of the white sticker were visible.I then phoned again and spoke with another director of the company and he reassured me that he would handle it , he promised the pelmets would be remade. On the third visit, ( by the second installer) I was not at home and the installer arrived and stuck offcuts of fabric over the existing pelmets which looks worse than the white sticker ! Needless to say when you look at the pelmet all you see are unglued edges of badly hand cut fabric. .It is the most appalling installation we have had seen at our home in the past 30 years . Not to mention this work has bee overseen by the Directors of the company and cannot be blamed on a sub contractor or disgruntled employee .We would not go anywhere near Whittlesea Drapes & Blinds, the service and workmanship has been appalling.

Very professional and friendly service from start to finish. Patient and helpful when I was choosing fabric! Faultless installation. The curtains are stunning. I’m thrilled.
