Active Automatic Transmissions

I wish i could give this 10 stars not 5 stars. i had an issue with my transmission on my Ford Falcon which started on Saturday, i had the NRMA roadside come to take a look and he said my shifter cable needs to be replaced and he coudlnt fix it so i towed the car to a mechanic who told me that you would need to get this done by a transmission specialist because they couldnt find parts for it.This was the week when everything is closing for the christmas and new years and i began to stress thinking who can help me cause i was planning to take my car to melbourne. I rang couple of the transmission shops and all said they are either booked out or told me to come after January 9th.I finally got to Richard and told him my issue he said to bring the car even though today was the last day before they were closing. So i took the car from the mechanic and drove to Richards place and he already was working on couple of cars but he said leave it with me and i will check it out.My car was fixed when i went back in the closing time, it feels new again. i want to say THANK YOU to Richard and hes fellow staff who helped get my car running again.Heroes dont always wear caps" Thank you again Richard for your service and professionlismIf anyone you know needs to get their transmission sorted or looked at then this is the place to go.Kind RegardsNiro"

I rang Rich at Active, he accommodated me quickly in what I could see was a busy time at his immaculately kept garage. My BMW's transmission was behaving oddly and he evaluated the problem and it was fixed the next day. Rich and his staff are polite and highly professional and provide excellent service at a good price - Highly recommended. Thanks guys

We've used Active Automatics for over a decade, and I'd be reluctant to use anyone else. Communication is excellent - we always get a call before any major work takes place, prices are as quoted, and the staff are friendly and polite. They've looked after our Toyotas, Mitsubishis and VWs with no issues.

Richard and Team did an awesome job adjusting my after market B&M shifter. Within one hour I was back on the road, the shifter is performing better now than ever before. Honest and reliable, highly recommended.

Highly recommend! Honest, professional and fair prices.Took my Golf R here to get a transfer case replaced. Dealership quoted $5000 for the part plus some for labour. Came here and got a second hand part for $950 + $500 for labour; on the plus side he worked overtime, after hours to get it all done in a day. You can’t beat this level of service.Super happy with professional workmanship and service.

The starting was not excellent but ended well with my Mercedes SLK 230. I thought it was bit expensive but enquired around and was assured, to be fine. Can recommend to anyone requiring a quick and reliable fix.

They were able and willing to fit me in quite late in the afternoon. The work was done quickly and well, they even test drove my car before and after the job so very thorough in their work. The price was reasonable and they were happy to answer all my questions and give me some good advice.

Very professional and high quality of service. Got the results i was looking for and more. Transmission was reconditioned and the car drives like new again.
