Broke down with dead battery and what also turned out to be broken drive belt. Use my car for work all day and have no other car to use, so I was panicking. Although busy, Luke and his apprentice were there looking at my car within 40 minutes. Replaced battery then took car back to workshop to replace drive belt and check for any other problems then Luke delivered my car back to me 2 hours later. What an absolute legend and both he & he wife are lovely. Highly recommend this business.

Wow finally our family have a mechanic we can trust. I was told by Kmart I needed front brake pads and new disc rotors for my VW Golf cost of $750??? I decided to get Luke from Waites Automotive to check and quote it. He offered to come to my house and he showed me the brakes and told me they're not even half worn. He also quoted the log book service for $160 cheaper than anywhere else.So honest, you have a customer for life. Extremely good service and friendly too. Highly recommended.

I rarely write a Google review but I have to tell you these people are FANTASTIC. I purchased a vehicle sight unseen from a dealer and needed an automotive check up quickly. Monique was able to squeeze me in somehow the next day even though they were fully booked. I’ve had pre-inspections done previously but none so thorough as this one. Monique rang and read through the whole report with me to check I understood it all. The Waites service, quality and friendliness is first class. You couldn’t ask for more.

If there was a 10 star I would definitely give a 10 star . I wish I went to this place first I wouldn't be out of pocket and stressed and looking g for a part I can't find . Waite's automotive definitely sorted that out straight away he was extremely helpful, cost savings , and have gone out of there way to sort out my situation, I understand other mechanics giving advise that could of saved money but in the long run cost me , if I went here first my problem would of been sorted 2 months ago . I'll be bringing back my other vehicles and ill be recommending other people to this automotive to get the best service and weather it's mobile or at the work shop . Great service, great team. Professional, friendly and super helpful.Luke and Monique saved us on our trip. They went out of their way to help us.We arrived to Port Macquarie having problems with the transmission and we were going to stay there for just three nights. All the mechanics in the area wouldn't give us the chance for the next four weeks to check what was the problem but at Waites they made the time to see our car in the same day. After the diagnosis confirmed the transmission was failing, they found a second hand one in good condition with warranty and installed it just the next week.If I was living in the area I would choose them to be my mechanic for sure.Thanks guys.
