Very unimpressed and unhelpful. Poor quality turf. Zoysia would not recommend. Can’t cope with wear from a dog walking on it or a bit of shadeI went to a large effort in removing old sand and bringing in new soil, compacting and levelling it get turf that was cut to a whole range of different thicknesses and was dry from being cut from more than a day before or stored in the sun. Even found some weeds in it. Had to spend more money on revelling the turf by putting on a topcoat of soil. Lawn struggled despite appropriate watering and I got weeds.Spoke to lady at reception who was nice, said she would get owner out. I had to follow up several times eventually he came out in a cowboy hat and threw blame at the soil calling the person who sold me the soil a cowboy (which was ironic) . He then contradicted himself several times and departed the topic of the grass quality whilst I patiently waited.He then offered to bring out a vertimower and said I needed chicken poo.I followed up on vertimower several times, lady at reception was nice but had to follow up owner who clearly did not care.Got chicken poo which brought turf to life but spurred on the weeds as well.So unhappy have started the process of ripping it out.Have replaced some areas so far with Palmetto from Westland turf. Turf was cut to consistent thickness and not dry. They were also 1 of the 2 turf suppliers (from nearly 10) who responded to an internet enquiry. Better service and better product

Bought and laid 100sqm of Empire Zoysia in September and 10 weeks later its looking excellent. Install and maintenance instructions provided by Lovegrove were very good and are a must to follow. Have called them twice post install for further info regarding fertilising and weed control and both times was given good advice. Prices are reasonable too.

Really bad service, everything done as per instructions, laid a good flat compacted base of the correct medium, the grass was supposed to be 30mm thick but instead it was everything from 10mm to 40mm and completely dry and in shock when delivered. So obviously when laid and watered in it nearly all died and took nearly a year to revive it and is all bumpy and lumpy from the various thicknesses. Got no help from lovegrove. In reality it should have all been removed and replaced with what we paid for not the rubbish they delivered. Some was so useless it had to be thrown away and I had to go get more. Those pieces were moist and healthy and even in thickness and were the only pieces to take well and grow correctly. Would not use lovegrove again.

Absolute process orientated business that results in quick reliable high quality product.Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you get to meet the owner, he is down to earth and ensures everything runs ticka-t-boo. They really look after their tradies. Grass quality is A+

Absolutely excellent. Gave me loads of advice and tips before they even started work and then installed my soil and Kakayu grass for me. Incredibley professional which is rare these days. They finished a day early! Would definitely recommend Lovegrove to anyone wanting lawn installation.

Although i only required a small amount of grass the staff treated me as valued customer, taking the time to give me advice and make sure my ground was properly prepped for laying the lawn.They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend Lovegrove turf services.
