This motel is our regular stop on our way to the Hunter Valley, great reception by very friendly owners and best of all a country Chinese restaurant. Extremely clean and well maintained .

Family dog friendly room, clean with all amenities. Even a fenced off area to leave dogs while packing/ unpacking the car. Chinese restaurant on site, food fresh and tasty.I left my phone charger in the room and that was mailed to me. Excellent service. Walk to pubs and restaurants.

Me and my boyfriend and a amazing stay! We originally booked for one night as we were stuck with a flat tyre and were waiting for it to get repaired. The lovely manager asked if we would like to stay a extra day free of charge as there was a cancellation which really helped us out! Will be definitely staying here again if we pass through the area :))) highly recommend

We booked this place for a night stay while driving from Sydney to Melbourne. It was a cold night and the host, Jason, had already turned on the heater in the room to welcome us warmly :) The room was really generous in space and cosy and clean. The location was perfectly close to a highway exit and an easy to reach. An onsite restaurant was just what we needed and it had a good range of food. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! So clean and nice and Jason is so friendly. The atmosphere is really sweet and welcoming and you can tell there's heart in the business. Holbrook is such a lovely town. Will stop here every trip between Sydney and Melbourne.

Pet friendly which was very useful for us as we were travelling with two cats. We also forgot some hand knitted toys and Jason made sure that they made their way back to us safe and sound, very much appreciated.

We, (3 kids and I), were stranded in Holbrook due to car trouble. NRMA booked us into the Jolly Swagman. I cannot overstate how friendly and helpful the manager was - so empathetic about our situation, flexible, even offered to lend me his car if we needed it. Just amazing. Very grateful in what could have been a horrible experience. Meanwhile, the local bakery is awesome, so is the mechanic, and the pizza from the Riverina Hotel was great and delivered to our room. All smiles here.

Recently my husband and I did a road trip staying in motels and cabins in 4 states. The Jolly Swagman is in our top two. Comfort, concern, helpfulness and friendly. Thanks for everything Jason. The Chinese restaurant was a bonus.
