My son has been with FDA for three years and has had so many amazing experiences to support his football growth and mindset. The coaches are skilled and have expectations of all players to be the best they can be, while valuing sportsmanship and team work. The team he plays in is full of young men with good values and a wonderful approach to both winning and losing in a respectful manner which is fully encouraged by Cormac and his team of coaches. Travelling to Germany to play Against German teams and be involved in training sessions with teams in Wolfsburg was a highlight and led to a huge improvement all round for both my son and other members of his team. Last year they also had the opportunity to compete in a national competition on the Gold Coast against a range of teams from around Australia. If you want a place that ensures a safe, nurturing environment to develop your child’s football skills and love of the game, then FDA is definitely where you should be.

I had a little taste of FDA in 2017 and really enjoyed it so when I got the message in 2019 to come back as a squad member there was no hesitation.The facilities and equipment are world class and you feel like a professional player. The coaching is outstanding too. All coaches keep you accountable, give you regular feedback, and have exceptional knowledge of the game. Sessions are always planned to get the maximum for the individual and team.There is also a clear pathway for higher level football which as an aspiring player is great as FDA will show you the door if you put in the work. Looking forward to continue my stay for another year and excited for what the future holds.

My son has been with FdA for about a year now, and whatever I write will not give justice to how great the academy is, both from an organisational point of view and the coaches that train the teams. The facilities they use and the training they provide are absolutely fabulous and keep up with the ever evolving world of football.Even during these difficult times of lock down the academy and the coaches have kept my son engaged through team zoom discussions and training sessions shared digitally and remotely. Not only are the coaches fantastic in their knowledge of football (fundamentals, technical, tactical and mentality) and entertaining training sessions where they improve technical and creativity skills of the team but they are also great role models and ensure that team spirit is high through encouragement and positive attitudes by keeping an open channel with the players.I won’t single out any coach in this review as I believe it is the whole coaching team, their togetherness and combined knowledge that delivers such a great atmosphere. My son has, and continues to look forward to each training and zoom session with FdA.Cormac you have built a great Academy that everyone involved in (Parents, Players and Coaches) should take great pride in, I cannot recommend the academy enough to anybody that loves to play football and wants to develop their skills and understanding further.Thank you for such a great environment for my son and the other children to thrive and build on their football skills.

Our son has been with FDA for a little over a year and he 's thrived in that time, maturing as a footballer and as a person. He was welcomed straight away and encouraged to take on a leadership role on the field. The head coach brings a calm approach to the tactical and technical development of the team, fostering creativity and an attacking mindset from the backline to the front, and we look forward to seeing where the next year takes them!

My daughter has done three different soccer camps in the 6 years she’s played. This is her favourite by far. She’s developed so much over that last year compared to her peers. It’s now become a staple of her school holidays. I would recommend this camp for any child that has a passion for the game. It’s hard work but tones of fun. Thanks Cormac. You’re truly dedicated to the sport and the kids.

My son has been with FDA for four years so far and has had a fantastic experience. The coaches engender respect, camaraderie and teamwork, along with excellent skills based and tactical training. The coaches are very skillful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and encouraging, taking time to ensure the team plays to the best of their abilities. The selection of three of the senior FDA players into the Berlin Liga this year is testament to the quality of coaching at FDA. Highly recommended!

After my son's training, two different people at two different shops notice his FDA uniform and stopped me let me know their great experience at the academy.The first person, a young teen, about 17-19yrs old let me know that he used to train with FDA, eventually playing in a few countries overseas. He definitely praised Cormac and his coaching staff.The second person, a father whose son also trained at FDA, had nothing but praises in the style and manner of your training compared to other Academies and clubs his son used to be at.I just wanted to pass on this positive feedback, as it made my son and myself feel very proud to be associated by an academy that is so highly respected and well spoken for.In our short time at FDA, we have seen why people have such high praise and respect for yourself, coaching staff and training methods.We can’t wait to have a wonderful season at FDA and keep on the great work for the next generation of soccer talent.

Being the oldest senior player currently at the academy I can say I’ve had my fair share of coaches and teams over the years since I started playing soccer and FDA is by far the best environment I’ve played in. The head coach Cormac alongside with the other coaches possess a wealth of football knowledge and experience which is displayed in every single training session. From youth to the senior teams, they show discipline and intense training where you cannot get from any other academy or npl club. Unlike other academies, FDA has overseas pathways available to the most dedicated players and have produced 4 players currently playing overseas to show for that.Would highly recommend FDA for any player or parent looking to Receive too quality coaching from all ages.

My son has attended the FDA academy for over a year now, after switching from another development pathway. He is not only a better soccer player as a result of Cormac, Marcela and the teams coaching but a more confident & committed player and team member.What sets FDA part from other development pathways is they are focused on the holistic development of their young players. They employ top tier coaching staff who have long tenures at the academy and who genuinely care about each and every player in the academy. They care just as much for behavioural development and wellbeing as they do physical performance and skill development. They set high expectations which the boys happily comply to out of respect and admiration for their coaches. They understand the long game and are careful to nurture and prepare the boys for a long, successful and rewarding time in the game.I couldn't recommend FDA more highly and are so pleased we made the switch. My son is thriving with a renewed love of the game and respect for the development process through his teen years.

FDA is an amazing academy with a brilliant team of coaches who are passionate about teaching the kids football skills. They instill discipline and passion in the game and show a genuine interest in their students' progress. They have a great culture and a friendly environment and I am very happy that my son is a part of this team.
