Fo0die dined as a guest of Twice Shy Cafe and as such, the rating does not give any consideration to customer service.We arrived at the cafe at 11:30am on a Saturday and parked on the side streets. The cafe was busy when we arrived, but no waiting time as far as we could tell.The venue is located on a corner and has outdoor seating around the outside of the venue and seating inside the venue.The menu has a good selection of dishes, from burgers to traditional brekky dishes through to sweet breakfasts. For our visit, we had the bacon and egg brioche which stacked classic breakfast items into one convenient bun and the Japanese pumpkin salad which was filled with green goodness. We enjoyed both the dishes we selected and only wished we had a larger tummy to try the biscoff french toast they had on the menu!

Twice Shy
I work here so my opinion and 'REVIEW' will have a slight bias to it. The food is immaculate, the executive chef is very creative with his dishes and flavours. I have tried just about every dish and they all tasted very delicious (I have stated in other reviews, I am no foodie). As for the coffee and the bar itself. Well, I am the man behind it, with the help of other fellow baristas beside me! So know that whatever is served out, is prepared and served with precision & care!

Attentive staff despite it being busy. My person was constantly topping up my glass of water.I dined on my own as a treat for a tough work week.It is autumn so I had to have the Merry Mushrooms with polenta. The perfect cool autumn breakfast.Their menu has some lovely twists on the average breakfast on offer in most Mekbourne cafes.Worth the visit. Tucked away in a quiet suburban street, I prefer these places as they are easy to park around and get to…away from the hustle and bustle.

This is a very cute place on miller street, the staff was very friendly and the coffee nice. Food menu looks all very yummy and I tried the granola and chia bowl. It was very well presented and tested really good especially with all the fresh fruit although I was hoping to have another couple of spoons. I don’t know if it was because it was so good or if because the bowl was big but the serve felt a little bit short. My partner had the passion fruit bowl and on the opposite side it felt like a really large portion. My partner enjoyed the bowl except the passion fruit was surprisingly cold.Overall I give 5 stars because we both enjoyed it and I would probably go back to try some more of their menu. As we left around 930 am it was getting busier, they have a large number of tables so I think you’ll be fine by just doing a walk in.

Nice corner cafe with friendly service serving up great food with great presentation, the Avo on the serve of toast looked amazing it's the best I've ever seen. I had a magic and a batch brew the coffee was average but they used Melba coffee so didn't expect much. Recommend checking them out if in the area. Not sure if they charge for sparkling Purezza water so just be wary.

I cannot rate the cafe and staff more highly! My husband and I had visited once before and found the food and service to be excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making you feel as if you’re getting a fine dining experience at the same time as chatting with friendly locals. We got in touch with them for a last minute Mother’s Day booking for my first Mother’s Day and the owner Dom and his wife went out of their way on a Friday evening to shuffle a couple of things around to squeeze us in even though they were booked out. On the day, Dom greeted us personally with two roses and a complimentary beverage to make my meal even more special. The food and service was, as before, top notch. Dom saw my baby enjoying a bit of avocado from my plate and went and got him a little tub of it to takeaway and enjoy at home. The owners and staff made my first Mother’s Day so memorable. I would recommend Twice Shy to everyone and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks again Dom :)

I’d dare say, food is amazing, definitely one of the best cafe food I have had during my trip here in Melbourne. Wish I have found it sooner so I could have tried different food on the menu. Super nice owner/manager too! Amazing food, amazing service!

Service was very quick and friendly. Coffee was good. The food was even better. Would’ve wished for the 15hr potato for the Benny be a bit crispier but overall good experience! The strawberries and cream cold brew special was spot on!

Amazing. Customer service was great, very passionate chefs and baristas serving amazing coffee and food. I ordered the blueberry hotcakes, they were delicious. Highly recommend!

The service here was friendly and efficient, the Granola was fresh and full of flavour, perfect size. The coffee was vey good l had two as well as the almond croissant baked on site it too was yummy, l had been told to check out twice shy and lm pleased l did. The gardens area out back looks comfy for a catch up with friends.Thanks Twice Shy for my brekkie.
