L&D Earthmoving

Operators were average, they rounded times up and they overcharged, promised to return half an hour to my credit card but never did despite follow ups. Nothing excelling to see out of them from my experience thus far and i am well qualified to make such a statement as i am very experienced in the construction industry.

No job too big or small. These guys helped me out of a pickle big time. They came next day with the right sized equipment and even had a local place to dump clean fill for free as they keep a 'dirt register' to marry up their customers needs. Driver/Operator even swept the footpath out front when finished. Blown away. They are the real deal and deserve every one of their 5 stars. I'm definitely a return customer.

these guys were booked in by my landscaper. was told to pay them direct. i was on the understanding i was to be paying $119 per hour. Job went on for a cpl of weeks. Had daily delivery charges i did not know about that when i pushed back on as the combination bobcats were left onsite 3/4 of the duration i was then told it was a driving to site fee instead. I feel like they just make things up. i was also charged up to $200 a day at times for changing how the bobcat grabs. I had no idea about these payments,was not informed by L&D. My first phone call to this company where they took my credit card for daily deposits they should have advised me and sent t&C of any extra potential charges. When i rang and questioned charges However i was given their T&Cs spiel. Yes that would have been great day 1. Still to this day they never sent me any actual documentation which i should have received day 1 and also verbally made clear of. All my proceeding phone calls all they say to you is, that's it you got to pay. I am looking to find which ombudsman to go through as i believe this company to be not very forth coming in the charges applied. Completely feel like ive been taken advantage of and paying a few thousand more than i should have which has been crippling. Up to you if you choose these guys but i will certainly never use them again and i highly doubt anyone i know ever will either.

I have used L&D for over 20 years and always found them to be dedicated and professional. We recently had the pleasure of doing some work for them and they were great to deal with. A credit for our industry and a standard all can aspire to. Well done to Barry and the team. Your success as an organisation is well deserved

We used L&D Earth-moving despite a questionable first experience and this experience was even worse, we were massively under quoted on hours for the operators 10 hours quoted verses 6 hours on site and 80 minutes of that was trying to sort out the details of the quote, we had to organise an additional person to help the driver get the equipment ready for the job as the lift was over 75+ KG's.They obviously under quoted to get the job as tip fees (estimated) at $500 verses $1341 that I paid was ridiculous and that was the agreed 50% so it would have been over $2500 if I was to pay the lot.Not a good experience at all ,the driver (nice bloke) rocked up and did not know the job an filled us in on the day (too late), if quoted correctly we would have prearranged 2 x 6M3 skip bins to save on costs, I suspect that of the two loads we paid the majority of the two and the 50% was not honored.Avoid this group.

Could not be happier. We had Boris and Gibbo out here yesterday and are wrapped with the outcome. not only are they both fantastic in their own rights but work very efficiently as a team. They communicated with me every step of the way as things came up. And managed to knock it all out in a day which was a welcomed suprise. Masters of the craft which I can't recommend more. Thanks guys.

L & D Earthmoving gave exceptional customer service and really understands my needs. As I am not very machine savy it was good to deal with someone who was able to explain what I needed and offer a solution. GREAT COMPANY!

Couldn't be happier with with the service and price of L&D Earthmoving. They were able to attend with the right machinery on short notice, and there operator Bryan was like a surgeon on a 5 tonne excavator. Will use again and confident to recommend to others.

Real Rip, quoted $700 max for dumping 2m2 dirt and 12m2 driveway pieces piles (both dirt and concrete from driveway).Took $1100 as a deposit and then refunded $19 instead $400 or something similar!!

We had a job booked in for 8am tomorrow morning and they have just cancelled it because they have more important jobs to do. We had booked other contractors in and have relocated tenants at our expense also. Unprofessional and would not recommend.
