An amazing place to hang out after work and get your groove on! Emily-Rose and Refik definitely know their stuff, and break it down effortlessly for everyone from total newbie to practiced expert. Whether you're looking to take one of their Absolute Beginners classes, or drop in for one of their open Practica evenings (or daytime seminars - they really do it all!) there's something to be found at STH for YOU! My husband and I originally found these amazing people when we were searching for a way to make our wedding dance something particularly special. After learning with them for several months and getting our basics down, Emily-Rose went all the way to choreographing our entire wedding dance! It was spectacular and we were so stoked! It made the evening for us, and we had such a blast in our 1-on-2 lessons with her to practice in the months leading up to our wedding. Emily-Rose did a fantastic job of keeping things simple and clear, but blending more complex steps with the basics to make something truly unique for us. We recommend coming to them for all your Tango needs, and if you're looking to have a wedding dance that's out of this world, or just to add some fire to your floor routines at the local milonga, this is the place to do it!

The best place, people to learn Tango in Sydney. I ve started learning Tango about 2 years ago at another place where they were great dancers but their methods just resulted in my frustration and I didn't try Tango until late Aug 2016, it was when I knew Sydney Tango house through Facebook and with all care, help of Emily Rose, Refiq I am quite happy with my Tango Journey so far, however still have a long journey ahead before I become a good Tango dancer.Thanks you Emily Rose, Refiq for establishing such a unique place (with amazing timber floors) dedicated to Tango family.

Amazing tango dancing and a great atmosphere for everyone

My girlfriend and I just had a beginners class there. I had no dancing experience but Emily-Rose was able to get me on track right away. Great as it was a fun way to spend a night in Sydney! We went out afterwards to Surry hills and had some dinner. Highly recommend for if your like me and keen to try something new and have some fun doing it.
