The funeral for my Grandma just concluded is afternoon. Your live streaming coverage was absolutely pathetic, it kept freezing. But whats even worse is that's when we downloaded the video and it does the same thing. During this pandemic this is the only way to be part of such occasions. Go back and review the video as am sure you have taken advantage of a grieving family charged ridiculous amounts of money and called it an Upgrade but you failed to mention that your ISP speeds are slow!To all reading this post who have grieving families overseas and plan to hire there services, I urge you all not too!! For families trying to get closure from overseas will be left disappointed and hurt.

Visit the cafe at Springvale just for the scones! Absolute perfection

For over twelve months, I have tried to organise an appointment for my elderly Aunt to purchase a grave for her daughter's ashes. On three separate occasions I have had appointments cancelled on me by staff at Springvale. I had an appointment for the end of April just cancelled and postponed for after July! For those of us who work full time, it is impossible to get an appointment to buy a grave. This is shocking, disappointing and incredibly difficult for my Aunty to comprehend why this is such a difficult task. The decisions have been made, we just need time to meet with a consultant and pay for the graves(three graves), but we are not able to do this. If not for the fact that our family is dotted around Springvale I would have advice her to scatter the ashes in the sea! It is incredibly heart breaking to see the impact of his on my Aunt.

They had my fathers remains for an entire YEAR after his death before they finally got around to burying him. The funeral home gave them everything they needed to do things right. Everything was prearranged years before when my mother passed, and yet they somehow couldn’t reach out to the persons on file (myself and my father’s guardian) to make final arrangements and finalize the internment? Not a single word of apology from the staff for this mishap either. Despicable!

This organistation cannot be trusted to respect or manage your deceased loved ones in their in final resting place. Springvale Botanical Cemetery completely neglects the older areas, lacks the concept of care for the deceased, and the call centre person I spoke to yesterday could not care less. Apparently EVERY manager in the place was unavailable to speak to me at 2-30 p.m, which (as I told the call centre person), I do not believe for one second!! If you truly wish your loved ones to be cared for after they pass, do NOT make their final resting place here.I will be sending a formal letter to the board as these issues have been going on for several YEARS with zero resolution. Failing the board members doing their jobs and facilitating consistent change, the complaints will then go to the minister, and the media!
