Good place to take a break after a 1.5hr or 2.5hr bush walk. 3 benches are available to have a quick bite. Toilet available but without water, only toilet paper. No bins on site, so please take your rubish with you. The best thing in life is free!

This has the only public toilet available for many kilometres. Great to know if you have kids. Picnic tables. Lots of parking. Photo worthy views. Gravel road is well maintained, but not for timid or new drivers. Bring bicycles for a scenic journey around the base of the mountain. This route is an easy walk. If you want a challenge, head for the summit. Flowers in November were amazing.

Very nice place, we ended up here waiting for space at the botanical gardens (we were told to go back an hour later)so we drove until we found this little entrance. It is very unassuming. You drive a minute from the road and you come across the most spectacular views with no effort at all. There's also a picnic area with toilets further down.

Quite remote but with adequate facilities. In any case the views more than made up for it.

Mount Banks Picnic Area
Great short hike to the summit of Mount Banks. It was incredibly windy though and you need good shoes for the rocky trail. Also be aware of snakes, we saw a red belly black snake.
