Sweetwater Villas

Great surprise on our travels. Easy self service check in - spacious very clean rooms. Excellent nights sleep. I’d also say the best value of our Tassie trip so far. Definitely recommend this one.

Had a laundry to use which was very useful when travelling. Nice room, quiet, location driving Ng distance to town (few minutes). Would stay again happily.

We really enjoyed staying here in one of the 2 bedroom Villas. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and so spacious. The beds are comfortable. Management are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful views from the balcony and extremely peaceful. We will be back!

The unit is set out really nicely. Clean, tidy & anything extra you require can usually be acquired from laundry room. Close to walking track into township as well as small beach or fishing off the jetty. Have stayed here several times during the past 2 years. Friendly, helpful staff. A+

We stayed in one of the spacious villas. It was roomy with separate bedroom & sitting area. Good kitchen with everything we needed. The villa's are set well back from the sea, but there was a partial water view as we were up on a bit of a hill. We were in walking distance from St Helens, on a quiet footpath away from traffic

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Bedrooms are on the bottom floor and living area is upstairs. There is a private balcony in each room which also had a small electric BBQ there. Due to the accommodations location just outside of town we could stargaze and watch the milky way from right there! There is a small washing machine in the rooms and a private clothes line at the back of the room. Downstairs also has the shared laundry which is free to use in the afternoon (cleaners use it on the morning). Dryers cost money. There is a small collection of DVDs and books in the laundry too. TV is a little older but has HDMI (When plugging in USB it could not read the movies we bought along) and there is a DVD player. Internet was of a medium speed but fine for simple web browsing. Another very good part of the accommodations was that there were two toilets. Made things easier!

Nice place to stay. The view is good but there are a lot of tall trees in the way, so beware that you can see the water, but it will be slightly obstructed. Supplied with our key, was a local map of places to eat and done sightseeing recommendations, which was very helpful, since we arrived late. Town is a short drive away and when you get back, your parking space in front of your room will be clear, as they are all numbered. The only unfortunate thing was that we only planned to stay for one night!

quiet location .. good sea view from villa 4! .. comfortable villas but no sound proofing! .. good water pressure! .. undercover car parking .. has cooktop & microwave.

Yes this motel is older, BUT the owners have given it a pizazz. They've added wide new decks that enable you to load and unload your car boot, undercover. They've updated the bathrooms with new cabinets and tapware and even installed under floor heating. The kitchen has been updated, and very functional + they've even included a dishwasher. It's bedrooms downstairs with the living upstairs to enjoy the bay views. There was no interaction with the owners or manager but it didn't matter as they kept in regular contact via messenger to let us know what restaurants to try and what time the shops close in town. Overall we really enjoyed the site. It's was a good base to enjoy the drives we took every day.
