I’m not sure how to express my disappointment in the dealing with this company. My initial thoughts were that these guys were going to be the ones to help with our renovations. We had an advert through high pages to which Mark responded and promptly came over. Upon discussions with Mark we were interested in having a complete house makeover and were excited at the prospects. That’s where things changed. After An initial email to say when can we discuss things further, and another to say “have you received this email” and several phonecalls to Martha over the course of 2 weeks, I was told that Mark due to personal reasons was on leave and unable to help. Fair enough.So I was explained that we would have someone else come over and talk to us and measure up the house. Craig came over, spent a total of two hours talking to us with our ideas, we even had a kitchen man come to measure the house, exited to progress.....and then heard nothing. I called again 3 times over the course of 2 weeks, each time talking to Martha, who could hear my increasing frustration and annoyance at hearing nothing. “ Yup I’ll get them to call you” seemed to be said a lot.I then get a phone call saying that another builder would be coming over to measure AGAIN as Craig did not have any notes taken or these notes had gone missing. I was never told which.Another 2 hours of measuring, was told I would receive a quote by the end of the week, 10 days latest. 2 weeks go by and still we received no word. I called up again and was told that I would be receiving my quote by the next day. I waited. 7 days later nothing came still. I called again and got Mark on the phone, he said he had sent it, which he hadn’t. Wasn’t in the junk mail or the inbox. He said he would resend. Which he didn’t. Then on the Monday we get a quote, with no text or words. Just a document attached to an email. Ok YAY this had taken 2 months to get here, but It’s going to be great quote we thought!But NO, The quote listed only half of what was spoken about, was vague, had typos, didn’t even include major topics discussed and seemed like a cut and paste job.I emailed back and asked for a better quote and for it to included the things discussed.I have yet to hear a response.If I could give zero stars for my experience I would.The two people that came up to measure the kitchen and the house I should say were professional,a and accomadatjng. It’s Just a shame they have to be a part of this review.

Had a quote done, item collected to have frame built for it. 4 weeks later their supplier tells them they can do it. So i ask them to bring item back. It had been 1 week so called to ask where it was where they were very sure it had been dropped off. I told them 100% had not been we have security cameras. Guy goes and knocks on house, he left it out the front of the wrong house on the wrong street.No communication, i had to call weekly for updates, no apologies for taking a near $300 item to someone else's house and leaving it unattended

We needed a few little annoying jobs sorted. Jamming front door, missing handles on cupboards in the kitchen. New cupboard door to be fitted amongst other things. Rod came around and went out of his way to do a sensational job but more importantly to clean up after himself. A big business doing small jobs at an incredibly affordable price.

I used MMD services to RE-LIGHT a hot water PILOT LIGHT recently. Unfortunately I wasn't at the property to complete the simple task. Obviously it's only a 5-10 min easy job.We were surprised when we received A $324.50 BILL!!.We obviosuly disputed the invoice and asked for a costing breakdown.All MMD were able to itemise was the $220 first hour, afterhour charge as it was a Sunday morning. Still an excessive charge I would of thought. God knows where the other $104.50 came from especially when we are only located 2km down the road. The service person (Martha) was punctual, completed the task quickly and easy to communicate with.

Mark and the team at MMD have been wonderful. Easy to communicate, quick to get the job done with quality and great customer service. Highly recommend. Thanks team

Mixed emotions... The guys that came did okay, but we never knew when they were coming, 4 weeks or close to it to do a bathroom reno... Tiling left a bit to be desired, they fixed it up a bit, but the levels were a bit off.Don't expect them to return phone calls, unless you really pester them. Customer service, well I shouldn't have to chase people to find out what's happening.

Great service, my brothers hot water heater blew up, and due to him having a head injury and not having access to his funds it can be hard to get people in to do the work last minute on a weekend. Yet no problems for MMD they were very understanding and happy to wait for payment. If it wasn't for them it would of been over a week my brother would of been without hot water.

I worked for a local real estate office in property management for 2.5 years and MMD took care of sooo many of our 'difficult' maintenance items that seemed too hard for a handyman. These guys are qualified tradesmen and do a brilliant job!

ABYSMAL. Multiple breaches of VBA law, eg. No Contract drawn or offered, 20% deposit charged, Compliance Certificates NOT issued until 8 months, and multiple demands later, and refused to provide Insurance information (to this day). ATROCIOUS interior painting, almost no sanding, several dozen chunks of debris painted onto walls, doors and ceilings, and left there to dry. Spray-gunned it! Even painted OVER flaking (lifting off) paint....but still expected $5.5k for it. Entire interior needs to be re-done. Tried to charge quoted work as extra". Went to the DBDRV

Cannot recommend these guys enough. Amazing work and will always look after customer needs. I don't know why there would be negative reviews.. might be more than one side to the story as we have never had a problem and all my friends only speak highly. Thanks team.
