Nice people but bad service. The people that have treated me don't seem to completely know what they're doing

Absolutely disgraceful towards an elderly patient confined to a wheelchair, he had such frail arms and could barely move the wheelchair along. (his destination would have literally taken an hour by himself) All the staff members KNEW he was struggling and so many simply waved to him as they passed by. Had a non local person not been there to help he would surely have been there quite a while struggling. One incredibly obese nurse said for him to hurry up" in a joking manner. So instead of any of these lazy people helping a patient out which wouldn't have taken long. He has to rely on strangers helping him out. Get your act together. I imagined myself in his position and felt quite depressed. How sickening."

Recently my father was admitted to palliative care at the Ayr hospital. I couldn't fault the care my father was given. Even to the end he was shown the utmost respect, all the care and respect that was shown was greatfully appreciated. Thank you to all the staff involved.

I arrived at the Ayr hospital in a ambulance be-course my i was in excruciating pain in my abdominal and chest. in the er in the Ayr hospital there done a few x rays.the staff already had the suspicion it is kidney-stones, next day there done a CT scans but remember there done x rays a night before.OK the doc told me i got a stone from about 6.5 mm and she straight put me on liquid infusion.all what this incompetent doctor looked at it was the stone. she overlooked total the x rays who showed clearly a huge amount of fluid in my lung. now after hours and a few liter if pumping fluid in my body i was not able to lay down or breeze the pain and the breezing was unbearable . why of course all the liquid building up in my bode especially in my lung . next morning i released myself from the hospital care for me it was clear there is something horrible wrong and the medical staff was to incompetent to see it. there disregard the x ray image of my lung totally a competent person would realize the huge amount of fluid building up in my lunge . after i release my self from the hospital care i went a few days later to a local GP .He just downloaded the images there where taken in the Ayr hospital and after a few seconds he realized the fluid build up in my lung. Same x ray image the Ayr Hospital Doctor used and could not read proper or did not wanted to . he started straight the right treatment with getting the fluid out of my Body over a injection and tablets .same night i could finally sleep and breeze normal. All what i can say is i nearly drowned on my own liquid in my lung be course of a incompetent doctor at the Ayr Hospital. remember i got the x- ray images to show and i got the medical file what treatment there done at the Hospital

Had really good doctors but disappointed in the system. Lab results took 7 days to come back by which time I was feeling okay already. Got called back in just to tell me the diagnosis, which the doctor said could have easily be told on the phone and charged me 392aud for the 5 min.
