Jungle in Willunga
This Garden Centre is a must for the whole family. We took our 3 year old grandson last Saturday and he had the best time searching for all the hidden animals. We also appreciated how well looked after and beautifully presented this place is. The prices were also very reasonable. The Hot Doughnut Van was definitely a bonus. Thankyou for a wonderful experience.

This place was amazing. There was a huge area to walk around with lots of different animals hidden amongst the plants to spot. There are checklists for kids to find the animals. Inside there was also a fairy land area to walk around. There was a fantastic selection of pots for sale and many plants. The trees and plants for sale were were already grown to a reasonable height and very well priced.

Not your average nursery. While on holiday we stopped in with Mr 3 to experience the beautiful jungle garden and look for all the animals within which took us around 30 minutes. Such an adorable thing to watch them discover where they were all hiding. The fairy garden was also quite cute too. The store itself is well stocked and has a lovely layout and display.

My Mother in law had been telling me for a month or so about this nursery she had been to on a trip for ECH. There was a jungle she had said with statues of animals, the grandkids would love it. We live out north so it is a little over an hours drive but this Sunday we decided to make the trip with her to see. We got there paid the donation and went through the jungle. The kids loved the activity finding the animals and even took some pictures with them, what a great idea. After my Mother in Law wanted to look for some plants. We went in with her to have a look. I was bending down to check the price of a plant for her and my bottom hit something behind me. I turned around to see what had happened as who I assume is the shop owner came over. The edge of a bird bath dish had broken. I said what had happened and she explained I would have to pay for it. My heart sunk. The bird bath dish was $65 which to some may seem like nothing but to me was everything. I am constantly telling my children in shops not to touch anything, only to look and this had happened. It was an innocent accident. I have been feeling many emotions ever since. Anger at first and then I cried while my husband drove home. Although this is a lovely nursery, lovely plants and even though I can’t afford $65 it does have reasonable prices but I won’t be returning. Other than the embarrassment, I have been left feeling really upset at the situation. My mother in law who I was with at the time went in and payed for the bird bath and bought over $100 dollars worth of plants she had planned to buy already. I do plan to reimburse her as this was not her fault.

The lady in the shop/garden centre was so rude and really ruined a great day. The park was lovely. I will be letting my family and friends and also my ECH Group(that recommended the place) know about an incident that occurred with a broken bird bath dish and tell them not to return back to this place. In which i had all intentions to pay the $65 for an innocent accident. I would have offered to pay for it, but the lady's rude attitude before i could even offer was not acceptable. My daughter in law was very upset about the situation and also the grandkids. I wish i did not spend over $180 on plants( in which was very overpriced). See photo attached. Maybe think of uncluttering these areas so accidents dont happen again. There is a polite way to go about it and not be so rude and to embarrass someone like you did. Also shops should have insurance for these incidentals and thank you for even asking if my daughter in law was ok and not injured. Absolute lacking duty of care.Regards,Chris, the owl lady
