Doug & the EMC team are my go to everything. They’re the experts and they care about their community. Recently bought a new pair of boots, had them heat moulded and adjusted again before heading up the mountain and they’re like slippers. So comfortable. A huge help given every other pair resulted in calf cramps. Life changing and I can’t find the words to thank you enough.

Spent time this morning with Mitch at EMC.Several members of my family have had boots fitted by Mitch and Doug.We travel from Brisbane for the quality of their service and advice.Mitch showed infinite patience with me and my weird fit.I highly recommend EMC and Mitch.Definitely worth the trip down

I have been going to EMC since my family and I started skiing. Doug and crew are very knowledgeable, they explain everything in detail and most importantly, very very patient.Fully stocked shop with everything you need. Its like entering an Alladin's cave, full of surprises and solutions you will highly value once your on the mountain.Doug and crew offer an excellent customer service . Highly Recommended...

I was fitted with a pair of hiking boots and a few pairs of socks and some other accessories on recommendation by Doug. After 10 days of walking-in my boots I finally feel ready and comfortable in them to hit the overland track in Tassie (which I begin next week). Thank you team EMC. Great to have someone with local knowledge and expertise to speak to before taking on a outdoor adventure.

I worked here when I was 16, I was fascinated by Doug’s incredible knowledge and all the time spent making sure new ski boots are ready to go and you know all about the gear you’re buying.11 years on, I won’t buy new skis or equipment anywhere else in Aus unless I need climbing gear. I am an outdoor Ed teacher and i still use the same hiking pack that Doug sold me in 2011. Fits so well.Thanks Doug!

If you're looking for snow/ski/outdoor gear from folks who really care about setting you up success then this is the place to go. They take the time to understand your needs rather than just a quick sell. They also sell cross-country ski gear, which is hard to find these days.Give them a go. This is how snow gear shopping should be.

Outstanding service! Doug made the experience of selecting and fitting my first ski boots so easy and memorable. He is extremely knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining why this are how they are. I never once felt pressured to spend more money than I had intended, and he even gave me recommendations on buying second hand gear elsewhere.I couldn't recommended Doug and his team more. Can't wait to go back to buy my first set of new skis once I'm ready. 11/10

AMAZING service. Was just looking for new ski boots, but due to the great care and time they put into me (and making me feel really comfortable as I'm new to skiing and not hugely knowledgeable), I ended up walking out with some great boots, custom moulded. Best value purchase!

Fair prices and good quality equipment for rental, but we had the best customer experience with a young lady (sorry, don't know her name but might be the daughter of the owner/manager) who is helping with boot fitting and equipment. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and patient, and more interested in providing the best advice than selling. 5 stars service and she understood it all, as not only we will come back, but we will talk about it.
